The reviews sold this to me but since having this, I've realised it isn't as good as some say. Every second project you're having to change the blade (I don't have a sharpener) as it starts skipping/jumping and missing bits. Having to go back over again and again to cut the fabric how it's meant to be and it can gey quite messy! Thankfully I have an overlocker to finish my edges but for someone who doesnt, this isn't the one for you.I'll now be purchasing a smaller one as they're easier on curves, plus I've heard of a good brand.

Rotary cutterI’m thrilled with this new tool. I do a little craft work and needed to get an extremely straight edge, which this tool did amazingly. Be VERY careful as it is extremely sharp! There is a locking nut, so you don’t have to hold the blade down as others have suggested! I also bought the self healing cutting mat to use with it.

I used this rotary cutter to cut fabric for quilting. East to use and was a good price too

This was a christmas gift for a granddaughter who seemed very pleased to receive it. Preliminary tests suggested it was perfectly suitable for textile work.

Such a shame the blade was bent, had to buy a replacement blade at my quilting class which cost almost £3 more than this rotary cutter. I needed it there and then otherwise I would have returned it.Otherwise very good, sturdy and comfortable to use.
