The description is misleading. This Activity Book works for older children, thru middle school age; older kids or adults will enjoy it too! Youngest children will need help with reading. All youngsters, in the 3 to to young teenage group get lessons on self-image, acceptance and personal value while flexing their imaginations. It's a fabulous personal growth tool that would be invaluable to special needs children as well. And for ages teens to 101, it's an opportunity for playfulness. An adult reader will have fun staying in touch with his/her inner child. This Activity Book is a winner on all levels!

Good for travel, recommended to do with a friend.

This book is wonderful for kids of all ages! My daughter couldn't put hers down for hours.

Great- exactly what I was looking for.

I'm a grown up person, with a predilection towards coloring books and general goofiness.This is really cool, and inspiring as all get out, especially considering the recent political climate.Working on this made me feel...Hopeful. Whimsical. Excited. These are adjectives I haven't used in awhile, and I appreciate being able to honestly insert them into this review.I can't wait until the next iteration of this book. I hope they write more.

My copy of the workbook was a gift. It is so clever and funny! I especially liked how the author wove Antiheroes into the conversation.I hope a lot of kids have gotten their hands on her little book and are still discovering it. Probably a few of us adults could also use a bit of inward-looking to see what kind of superhero they long ago (or now) want(ed) to be. Adults with time to be open and silly :-)

As the boyfriend of a mother with a nine-year-old, I had to come up something to do with a child who only partially trusted me. When I saw this activity book, I jumped at the occasion: here was something we could do together that was focused on her agile imagination, while at the same time, I could gently guide her to greater explorations. We had a great time! A caveat: it was hard to make her do her bedtime routine, as she was saving us all from the zombies.
