These authors pulled a good one over their two publishers because this book is just an expanded upon version of Classic Rock T-Shirts. If you're looking for a good reference book about this style of shirts, buy this one. The only disadvantage is that this is a soft-cover book. Classic Rock T-Shirts by the same authors is the exact same book, just with less content.

I bought this book as a form of research since I currently work at a screen printing shop in town and it did not disappoint. Getting to see these old shirts separated by genre was a great way to get some new ideas for designs.

Gift for my son who's difficult to buy for. He's a t-shirt fan and he genuinely liked this book.

If you are a printdesigner in fashion this might be a nice resource. It is far from complete and the mix between "special" "collector" tees and selfmade/selfprinted tees is a bit weird. To place the tees in their context/time there are some images of the bands they are a tribute to. Also there are interviews with the collectors whos t-shirts have been photographed.I was mainly looking for collectors items and must-have or iconic tees, if that's your aim, you'd better search somewhere else, but as a source of inspiration for your own prints its a nice buy.

オールカラーで貴重なTシャツを惜しげもなく並べてくれています。バンドメンバーが実際に使っていたものなど買ったらいくらするの？？という歴史的な価値のあるレアものが目白押しです。そしてそれらを所持しているディープなコレクターのインタービューも面白いです。「ヴィンテージTシャツ」は表紙は全く違いますが、この本を日本語に翻訳したものなので、重複して購入すると泣きを見ます。
