This is a 16oz Bottle of Bob Dively Models' Liquid Masking Film. FEATURES: Bob Dively Models "Liquid Masking Film" (LMF) is the industry standard copied but never duplicated. Liquid Masking Film is a spray-able, strippable coating to mask and protect the finish when applying trim colors, letters, insignias, etc. on model aircraft, boats, cars and trains. It's a safe, non-toxic, non-flammable liquid that replaces tape on complicated masking jobs. Tight radius curves can be easily made even on curved surfaces. Leaves sharp, clean paint lines. Masks on any non-porous surface or finish. Can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on. LMF air dries in 1 to 2 hours. Drying can be accelerated with warm air. Trim design may be drawn on LMF when dry with a ball point pen. Score with a new X-Acto knife and peel off areas to be painted (thin areas won't peel). Plastic bottle with a metal screw-on lid. Little spendy but the best
As long as you take your time do it right and use multiple coats letting each coat fully dry inbetween this stuff is amazing. I was painting it on with a foam brush and doing brush strokes one way letting it dry then the other way ect usually doing 3-4 coats a little goes a long way then I got paint sprayer at harbor freight for like ten bucks and now I just spray it on I prefer spraying to painting but both work fine just make sure you let it dry don't rush it final coat let sit over night and you can tell when it's dry enough it will look like a clear silicone color vs pink

Great Liquid Masking
I have used this to paint my first RC body. It worked extremely well. The one thing I will say is to make sure you get a few coats on. I noticed in a couple of spots where I must not have sprayed the 2nd or 3rd coat that it was a little thin, making it a little more difficult to pull back in one piece. Overall, it worked flawlessly!

Simply the best
I use this stuff all the time on lexan car bodies. I prefer it over Fasmask. It works great with water based and solvent based paints, peels off clean (As long as you put on several thick coats). I prefer to brush it on, no reduction, straight from the bottle. If you don't apply enough, you'll know when it comes time to remove it, this is when it becomes frustrating. I usually apply 5 coats, letting each dry in between. I use a fan in between to speed drying times. I now buy it in gallon jugs. This is the product that I was promised, however it was very hard to use. I ended up starting over and not using it. Thank you to the seller though, they did great

Easy to use
Painted 5 1/10 RC trucks. I was new to RC painting and my designs came out better than i thought it would. Kinda pricey but after painting my 3rd rc, i got so good at cutting out the designs that i will never even attempt to paint with masking tape. Smells like elmers glue :)

Packaging not good at all
I received this today and this is how it came jar was open and had leaked out in the bag that it was in

Job accomplished!
This material, when applied properly, works very well. In my case, I applied it to steel. Since it is a water-based liquid, it rusted the metal. The corrosion is mild and easily removed, however. This application is not the intended purpose for the film and in no way casts the product in a bad light. If used properly, the film would perform excellently. I am pleased by the performance of the product.The quantity of product should allow you to do a large area of masking. It goes a long way.
