Lazer P'Nut Youth Helmet

My son hates wearing the helmet, but he likes the design, and I like the safety. The autofit feature is great. It is very light, but sturdy. The magnetic closure for the chin strap is AWESOME. The only reason I'm removing a star is because the chin straps are rather difficult to adjust on an unwilling toddler, particularly the length. Once you have them set, however, you don't have to adjust anything, and only having to adjust the straps (not the fit of the helmet itself) is very nice.

I bought this helmet for my 2 year old because I have been using Lazer helmets for years on myself and also purchased one for my wife. Lazer is at the head of the game with their protection, fit, and ventilation and I have yet to find another helmet that is as comfortable. The perfect fit system they have in the P'Nut helmet and magic clip means it literally couldn't be easier to get the helmet onto a wiggly child. My daughter doesn't put up any fight about putting it on, in fact quite the opposite. She will tell me "I want to ride my bike with my helmet" or "I want to ride my scooter with my helmet!" She even refers to it as "My beautiful, beautiful helmet." We put her bike away the other day because the other kids came outside and she wanted to keep her helmet on because she likes it so much.I've recommended it to friends and family for their children and will be buying another Lazer helmet for myself in the near future. You will not regret this purchase.

This helmet is AMAZING! Really well thought out for babies and toddlers who are riding along with their parents in a child bike seat, bike trailer, or starting out on their own bike. Extremely easy to get a good fit. Chin strap closure us much easier for kids than a snap closure, and parents don't need to worry about pinching baby skin. The soft spot zone on the inside of this helmet is genius, as is the flatter back so they an rest their heads back in their chair/trailer. So happy!

This helmet has been great! We've used it for over a year now. It's easy to get on and off. The air holes in the top prevent sweat from becoming unbearable. Our 3 year old has never once complained about wearing it. It stays put; has protected in many falls; and looks attractive.

hard to adjust and my daughter gets aggravated because it keeps falling over her face when the back touches anything (like the back of the baby seat)

This is by far the best children's helmet on the market! The price was $20 less than anywhere else I had looked and Prime Shipping to boot. This is also the one helmet that my son is happy to wear and doesn't complain about it hurting him. Recommended to several friends and we have all had the same feedback.

The spring loaded head cage inside this helmet is genius! It fits the head perfectly every time without fiddling with dials or adjusters. The chin buckle with the magnetic attachment is easy to clasp, but I'm a bit worried it would unclasp too easily in the event of a crash. I would rather have a standard buckle but not so much that I plan to replace.
