works as described. LED burns all night. often it is still on in the morning. mine is in full sun all day. holds two rolls of bags, but if they have cores, you still have to open this up to remove the core. no big deal. this makes using poop bags in the yard very convenient.

This is not only an outstanding product, but has a PHENOMENAL customer service department to back it up! I always give my honest opinion on products, as I would hope others to do the same. Because I was only "95% satisfied", with my original purchase, this company went above & beyond to make sure that I was 110%! Customer service speaks VOLUMES & can make or break a company. This company should be proud, because they will have many future orders & loyalty from me; due to their dedication to their customers.This product came with 2 options for mounting: it can be hung with included screws or staked into the ground with the included stake (which is removable). I chose to stake them throughout my property. The quality of the bags are great & my Residents love the convenience of having more pet posts. The light easily charges during the day & puts out a nice light to let my Residents know where they can find it, in the evening. The top easily pops off & I was able to fit 3 rolls inside of it. The extra storage space is deeply appreciated due to my dislike of having to add bags to the dispensers in the dead of a bitter Iowa winter!This dispenser is sleek, looks good, functions great & has a fantastic price point, along with a phenomenal customer service department to back it all up!

I love dogs, but I don't have a dog. However I live on a corner lot where every morning people walk their dogs, and they usually pick up after them, but not always.After one very large dog recently left a massive pile that they didn't pick up, I decided to be proactive and searched for poop bag dispensers to put out near the sidewalk. This one was the only one I could find for a reasonable price, so I ordered it.Upon receiving it I really loved the design, however I immediately noticed a couple of weak points. First, the top light fixture comes off way too easily. In fact I thought it would probably blow off because it's so loose. I wrapped some electrical tape about the part that fits inside the bottom, and now it fits very snuggly.So I went out to mount it on a fence post that is right near the sidewalk, and a fire hydrant where the dogs like to poop. I used the included screws, and mounted it using the keyhole slots, making sure the screws were as snug as possible. However it just seemed like a very weak and loose way to mount it, and I'm sure that in a very short time it probably would have broken off the fence, especially with the general public using the dispenser.So I dug around in my garage and found a large pipe strap, that I bent and modified slightly, and I used that to secure the dispenser to the fence. Now this dispenser is very secure, and I think it will stay on for many years.I stocked it with some high-quality, large poop bags, and people HAVE been using it. In fact when I woke up this morning I looked out and a guy had just walked his dog across the street directly to my dispenser. His dog pooped, and he bent over and picked it all up with the bag from my dispenser. For about $0.03 a bag (or less) when you buy in quantity, it's well worth it! In fact I think all neighborhoods should have several of these posted on the corners.So I would rate this dispenser at five stars for conception, but four stars for execution. I think they would be wise to do a few improvements to it, and maybe even charge a little bit more for an upgraded unit.By the way, I haven't checked to see if the light stays on overnight, but it does stay on at least for several hours after sunset, which is all I care about. Where it's mounted it doesn't get a lot of sunlight during the day, so I frankly wouldn't expect it to stay on all night.

I've had this going on 5 years and it still works fine. The light works off and on and was never meant to light up the yard. It more or less lets you know where the dispenser is. That said, once you get the hang of it, you can actually place two rolls on bags on the stem. I just replace them and pull both starting ends out of the silicone/rubber and good to go. I actually wrote this review because in looking to add a new one, I read a lot of bad reviews. Seriously? You need to understand that it needs to be installed with screws and also use the velcro stap to further stabilize it. We've even moved homes and took this with us and reinstalled. No issues at all. It does discolor a bit after 5 years of weather but it looks ok and works just fine. And - it's lasted longer than several others I have tried. I think using the velcro and the screws helps with longevity of use. I'm glad they have both options but using together is a win. Again, I recommend and am purchasing an additional to replace the cheap plastic device that already broke. I should have just ordered a second one of these to start. And remember folks, it's not a security light, it's plastic, lives out in the elements and it's for poop bags. I would temper expectations a bit.

It looks a lot nicer than it feels, which is ok with me. Even up close it looks like it's higher quality than the cheap plastic it feels like it's made from. My one big problem with it is that the light no longer worked after 2 days of use. It just stopped working.

Easy to install and has the features I was expecting. I was easily able to mount it on my fence in my backyard, where it should get plenty of sunlight. The light does not work reliably; the solar panel doesn’t get enough sun on slightly overcast days to work during the night. Only seems to function after a very sunny day.

Got this for our new house so we didn’t have to keep going inside to get poop bags whenever our dog did his business. I’ve had it for a few weeks and I love it. At first glance it feels kind of cheap but I mean it’s plastic and affordable, I don’t need a indestructible poop bag dispenser. It’s super easy to start using and super useful! Also note it survived a tropical storm so def durable. Also the light is a cool feature. It turns on when it’s dark and turns off when it’s light out or it hits light. Definitely recommend.
