Great calculator for 6th grade
This is perfect for children entering sixth grade where only a basic function calculator is allowed. This calculator is rugged. The buttons are hard plastic which was one of the reasons I chose this one. The screen is slightly angled upwards which helps to eliminate glare from overhead lighting. Large enough not to lose but small enough to fit in a binders pocket. Perfect.

Perfect for a 3rd Grader!
This was a gift for our 3rd grader to use for school when he needs one. We were tired of the dollar store calculators breaking or not working accurately, so we wanted something more reliable, yet simple and appropriate for elementary-age work. This one is perfect! The buttons are simply arranged and easy to find. It is a nice size--not too small or too big. The math drill function is very easy to operate and our 8yo learned how to do the drills in just a few seconds. He enjoys testing himself. This was a great price for a goodquality calculator with good basic design and features, and the nice bonus feature of math drill quizzing.

They like to use these a lot better than they like ...
My kids use these at school so I got 2 for them to practice on at home over the summer. They like to use these a lot better than they like working on paper.

Got several of these for students I tutor and they love them. They are a great shape and fit easily into little hands. The quiz function is an added plus for the students. The price on these range from $8 to $30 , so getting them for the lower price made it an inexpensive way to buy them for my students.

Great for math fluency
I bought this solely for the math drill functionality. We have one in the car that we used for my son to practice math facts while going to school. His teacher has an entire class set of these and recommended this particular brand.

The best calculator you could buy for elementary grades
Do you have a child aged 6-14? Get them this.Do you have a teacher who is near and dear to your heart and teaches math to kindergarten through sixth grade? Get them this. Get them multiple. While it works as a normal calculator, it also has a drill function that can quickly test addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division facts, depending on which mode you choose.I’ve had students ask if they can bring these out to the playground to use. That’s right. Some kids would rather play on a calculator than play on the playground. That’s how great these are. I can also confirm that it can get covered in mud, cleaned off and still work just fine.

Pi 3.14 ?
Pi only goes out 2 decimal places, on large numbers you loose alot of accuracy. I easily keep 5 decimal places in my head!
