This is far better than the previous curling brush I possessed. It's a larger diameter, so curls are softer, more like waves, and my long hair doesn't get tangled in the brush so easily. I can touch the "bristles" without being burned, so it's easy to use. The temperature control works a little differently than I intuited, but it's still easy enough to figure out. It came with a little velcro-type fastener to keep the cord tidy, which I highly appreciate, as it would have been something I would have done and this saved me the effort. However, it is larger than I expected, so it's doubtful that this will accompany me to Europe, which is why I wanted the dual voltage capability. It's understandable that the brush part is the size it is, it just would be nice if the handle was smaller/shorter. This, I can live with, though, as it works very well to control the frizzy mop of long, silver hair belonging to me (but would look far better on a sheep dog). The only true complaint that I can muster is that there is a small gap between the brush part and the handle, in which a few strands of hair become wedged and get inadvertently plucked. As I am aging, I struggle with hair loss and resent the loss of each and every hair on my head! Hopefully, though, I'll have many more years of use with this curling brush =)

I have had so many curling iron brushes - some good and some not so good. Unfortunately, the not so good or good but don't last long seem to be the most prevalent. I can say that this is the best curling iron that I've ever had. I like that the bristles move, so they won't have such a tendency to break, like the rigid ones or fall out like the thin bristle ones. My hair is fine, but the heat curls or lifts (based on what you are wanting) without burning. I haven't had this iron long, but everything so far is very positive. Hopefully, it will remain so.

I love this curling brush!! I have curly hair which in the summer I let air dry and go wavy or wear up. But, in the cooler weather I like to wear my hair down. I used to use a flat iron to straighten my hair, but got tired of that look and wanted a change. This is it! It is easy to use, works really well on my thick, way hair, and holds the curl really nice, giving it a soft look. And, it doesn’t get your hair tangled up in it at all. And, I don’t need to spray any product in my hair before using it. The only trouble I have is turning it off easily, but I just unplug it which is fine. It’s my new favorite hair product and I have already recommended it to many others when they have complimented me on my hair. For the price and how easy it is to use, don’t hesitate to buy it. You won’t be sorry!

Love the new curling iron. I got it for a trip that put me in two or more countries which have 210 and 120 current. From what I read this iron just needs a change of plugs and it will work with the current automatically. I have used it at home and love the way you can set the temperature, it heats fast and curls great. Just a little heavy but must have lots inside to use the double current.

After having tried many different hot curling brushes over a period of many years, this is the best one that I have ever used! I read all of the reviews prior to buying this one, and after using it for a few days I have not found any of the FEW negative reviews to be true. The LED controls work great and the 3-second freeze on a chosen setting prevents the user from accidentally changing the setting - which happened to me several times using other brushes. It is also lighter weight than many others, making it easier to use daily and while traveling. By following the directions, it was easy to learn how to change settings and how to turn off the appliance without unplugging it. The travel pouch fits perfectly and is an added bonus. This appliance is well-worth the money and I highly recommend it!

I have long, naturally wavy/curly hair. I use a curling brush to shape around my face and smooth out frizzy spots. I bought this iron to replace one that I'd been using for years, and wow, I'm impressed. Heats up super fast, and such smooth results. The iron I received is not travel size, it is a full size product, but easy to use and handle. Would definitely recommend!

It became very loose. I tried tightening all the screws and it didn’t fix my problem.I paid over $40 for this product that has only lasted 4 months. I have tried contacting the company three times and they have yet to get back to me. Save your money!That not acceptable to me!

I have heard back from this company and was accused of misusing their product. I am angry that they have accused me of misuse for they do not know me. Sorry to say this company does not stand behind their product. They will not offer repairs. Maybe I purchased a defective product. Sorry to say, but be sure there is a warranty before purchasing.The Swanmyst curling brush that I ordered did not last very long. The whole barrel is very loose and wobbly. I contacted the company and was told to tighten the screw at the end of the barrel. I did but this did not help. I replied to let the company know that their suggestion did nothing. I have not heard back.

I would not recommend this because it is marketed as an easy to use tool however it is very difficult to wrap strands around it without burning your hand. You are probably better off just using a regular curling iron.
