I like the book very much
I like the book very much, found it very useful, good information, encouraging. The last part gets a little redundant, as they've already covered the basics and keep referring back to previous chapters. The CD is excellent. The price is high.

Michael Thase publishes more pop fiction
If you like fiction then you will love any book by Michael Thase, in my opinion. If you have a serious interest in any therapy for depression then I would advise you to just walk away from Michael Thase and his books.

This book is excellent for combining well referenced text with very practical tips
This book is excellent for combining well referenced text with very practical tips. The authors do what they say in the DVD that comes with the book and they are inspirational in a down to earth way, by showing you the described therapeutic approaches within reach of the everyday practitioner rather than something magical and elusive. There are lots of ideas that clients can use as 'homework' or practical coping.
