Love this product! I’m currently a Physician Assistant student who plans on working in surgery and this kit is absolutely perfect for me. The silicone pad is just like real, human skin with a variety of different cuts to practice on! Not to mention, the many stainless steel tools it comes with is going to last a long time, which is super helpful as I don’t like constantly buying new tools to replace old, discolored ones. The leather case it comes in fits perfect in my purse/backpack and is discreet and durable. Highly recommend purchasing!!

Great for practice! Only reason for 4/5 is because the needle holder could be a little better in quality but worth it for the money. The little case that it comes with is nice, very secure when storing.

I liked that this was a good deal on a variety of practice tools that come in a nice case; however, the skin simulation tears easily (especially the subcutaneous layer) and one of the needles broke while I was using it. Unfortunately, it disappeared and my fear is if found, it will likely be located in someone's actual skin. I will update this review if I have better success with the kit in the future (I am learning, so I accept some of the fault), but I have not had such a poor experience with the actual thing. That being said, you can look for other suture kits, but I don't think there are many out there. Just be careful!

Loving this suture kit so far! It has everything you need to start practicing your suture skills from wherever you want. It comes with several pre-cut suture threads and four different types of threads as well. This kit is perfect if you’re wanting to practice your skills or just get comfortable with the tools prior to having to learn this in a lab. Plus, it’s pretty fun and addicting. Everything seems to be good quality and the synthetic tissue can be used multiple times which is great for beginners

Whether you are in the OR, ER, or placing a central line in the critical care unit... one of the procedures you have to learn is suturing.Even so, I practiced my suture and ties on everything from raw chicken to bananas.This suture practice kit has all the tools you need to master the different type of sutures. The silicone pad actually feels like real skin.I recommend this to all medical, PA, nursing, dental students.

The thread cuts the foam when shutting the wund. The kit is good but that is something it should not hapen.

Very useful set of tools & handy. This kit is an essential of any medical students. Very durable, portable and the sticky bottom makes life so much easier when trying to suture. Delighted with the quality!
