Bulk Diet Rice, 200 g, Packaging May Vary

I was on the fence about buying this, since the reviews weren't great. Just tried one pack in a soup and I have to say I'm impressed. For thise that tried konjak products in the past, it always had an unpleasant fidhy flavor. Not this. The rice is totally tasteless, so it gets the flavour of the sauce or soup you are adding it to. It's cheap, filling and it has almost no callories, so I will be buying more.

Instructions make no sense really. In the end I drained the moisture out of the bag and put into a saucepan for 5 minutes. No need to add additional water because the moisture within is enough to heat the rice up, I then cooked chicken breast in air fried and then chucked it all into the saucepan with some franks hot sauce, left to simmer for another 5 mins. Didn’t taste too bad, hot sauce makes a difference but the texture is nothing line rice, add some salt and sauce with chicken and it’s ok though, the portions are 1 serving and definately not two. So not cheap

Absolutely brilliant.. I made a paella with mine, no funny smell like some before a rinse and stays as rice even when simmered.. I literally just rinsed and added to my recipe... perfect and only 177 calories for a full portion of homemade paella... ordering more.

Definitely not for me. The texture is as disgusting as it looks even in stir fries or soups. It’s not particularly filling, tasteless, absorbs no flavour and to be honest serves no purpose. I would give it a miss. It’s not worth the extra few minutes preparation time. On a plus it has no smell like the other konjac products I have tried previously. It reminds me of tiny boba balls and looks like some kind of bug eggs. Nothing about this is rice like to me

Tastes great and I get a lot of it... One thing I'd say though is there's a LOT of packing, the main box, then another box for a set, then an outer hard plastic bag before finally your small plastic container...I wish they'd reduce the waste.

Very short BBF dates i just purchased some and they only came with 5-6 months date. After the BB dates you really do need to bin them as they go bad very rapidly. So be warned the seller is selling the short date items at reduced prices so its not really a sale like i had originally thoughtYou may think 5mths is plenty but when ive bought the other brands products before like Slim they too have that disgusting fishy smell so you DO need to rinse them thoroughly. But after a few washes they're fine but they have a shelf life of over a year at least if not 2I got them cheap so i shouldnt complain too much thats why i have it 2*'s instead of 1. but didnt like the underhanded methods of selling the short life items

These are ideal for weight loss. Most important is giving them flavour. Ok, you may not like the texture, but given plenty of flavour they can be very filling and enjoyable! Especislly if your downfall is dessert! I gently heat mine for 10 mins in a little almond milk, stir in a tablespoon or w of chia seeds stirring for 5 mins. Drain and put in a bowl with skinny syrup sweetener, any flavour, add 3 tablespoons of single cream. Cover with foil for 15 mins and voila! Creamy, sweet, filling pudding!😊 theyre a regular for me😊 excellent value for money!
