Diesel Fuel System Cleaner 11oz can

I put this in my Ford 7.3 with 230,000 miles on it. The engine sounds smoother, and seems to have improved the mileage. This engine is a great diesel and I am very happy with it. The BG product seems to be a good add on for it.

I have used this on my 05 LLY Duramax. It's at 160k miles, and just recently my mechanic told me that my original injectors are in perfect working order and all balance rates are perfect. I use the stuff right before I change my fuel filter and I can tell it makes a difference.

I'm a believer in BG products. I've always used them in older cars to try and make them run better or just bring them back to life a little bit. I'm not going to say it will do anything major but it will definitely help clean out deposits and do what it says on the can. I know there is a lot of snake oil out there but I don't think this product is in that camp.BG244 is getting harder and harder to find. You can sometimes get it at your local VW dealer but last I saw they were changing the formula and this one was going away. Hopefully that does not happen. The one that is newer is BG245 and I've heard people did not like it as much as BG244.I used this in a newer VW Jetta so I was not trying to address any problems. I am just trying to keep it clean so problems do not happen in the future from deposits. At the very least I expect this to make it so the problems from that type of thing happen much later than they would have normally. I also use DieselKleen(silver bottle) every other tank for the additional lubricity it brings. BG244 is more of a every 15-20k miles thing for me.

Don't really see anything different in performance or mileage, but I only had 65k on truck, so maybe the injectors weren't too dirty. Will try one more time in a few months.

This product is the best I have ever used. It has brought back my Duramax to new condition. If you have not tried this product you need to do so. Absolutely the Best diesel fuel additive on the market. Thanks Amazon for carrying Schaeffer Oil and this product.

Do not waste your money my TDI had 260,000 miles and it didn't make one bit of difference

Bought this specifically to try to clear my DPF filter code on a 2012 Jetta TDI. Not sure if it did anything, mileage is exactly the same, runs the same, CEL is still on. I suppose it wasn't super expensive, and my car is no WORSE than it was.....

The product arrived quicker than expected. After putting in in my fuel tank and driving for 15 or 20 miles I could already hear a difference in the sound of the engine. It ran smoother and was quieter. I plan to purchase more and run another can in it then start using it every 8 or 10 thousand miles.
