Princess ABC Flash Cards Cards – October 8, 2013

I love that the flashcards are printed on really heavy duty paper (board book like). The pictures are way adorable and can spark plenty of imagination. I bought them more for that aspect verses teaching ABC's. Most of the pictures are princesses with flower names and then a few animals, jewels, gowns and shoes etc. These are not the kind of reading cards that your child will recognize the picture and the letter sound, like C and Cat with a picture of a cat. The letters are also in a fancier font which might make it harder for the kids learn their letters if this was the only thing you were going to use. Like I said, I love the cards, the quality and the extra benefit of reinforcing the alphabet. The packaging is also very fun and will help keep the card in good condition.

The letter flash cards are cute however the reason I purchased these cards is so that my daughter could learn her letters. The capital and lower case letters on the back of the cards are written in fancy writing and it is difficult for kids to learn the letters when they look very different than what they are seeing in school.

The product itself was great. Beautiful illustrations, etc. I had ordered a new set, but what was shipped to me had tattered and torn packaging. We ended up returning.

These are adorable!! I saw the memory game at Barnes and Noble and wanted to know if they made more products. The illustrations are beautiful and I'm sure my daughter we'll love them when she gets a little older.

These flash cards are not very helpful when trying to use as preparation for Kindergarten. Some of the letters are hard to distinguish because of the "fancy" print. They are printed on nice, thick cardboard. I would not buy them again.

The letters aren't as clear as they could be, due to the font, so it was a little tough for my learning Kindergartener, but very cute and fun.
