Yes it should work, I bought one but in fact when I put the awning up I found I didn’t need an extension, I have a 2 awning rails and a drive away awning and the awning fits well on to the awning rail. Have you tried it as it might fit like mine did and I’d listened to someone else who said I definitely needed one, instead of trying to put it on the rail. Hope this helps.

Q: Will it fit onto a Toyota Hiace Noppo with an omnistar awning?

Your awning housing should have a narrow slit running underneath for its full length. The narrower gauge side of the beading tape slides into this. Hope this helps
