2605 Kindle Edition

I loved 2605.Interestingly enough, I was managing an operation that created Collateralized Mortgage Obligations [CMOs] and debt backed tranche products at the same time as your main character was doing similar things. I started backing away from them when I thought there was more risk than was being disclosed. I had several arguments with some leading economists about the risk in the products and how that risk should be properly disclosed.The book was a very emotional ride for me. I did business with Cantor Fitzgerald for nearly 25 years, and I lost several friends when Cantor Fitzgerald was crashed. But that was only part of the emotional ride. The whole book affected me deeply.

This is a fantastic book filled with fantasy. I caught myself more than a few times fantasizing about escaping my own life. One of he few things that I didn’t enjoy was having to stop reading to look up a few words that were used throughout the book, that I don’t quite use in my everyday vocabulary. Also that the story was kinda left open-ended, which I pretty ok with assuming that the only place really for the the story to go is for Fred/Carl’s secret to be discovered (which I’m glad didn’t happen).Overall I would and have recommended this book to friends and families. Thanks for a great read.

Enjoyed this story very much. You get the sense of horror at the beginning when 9/11 happens. By a fluke of luck, the main character is not where he's expected to be. He's late to a meeting on the exact floor of the World Trade Center. His trade is stressful and he has already toyed with the idea of disappearing and starting over. How he manages his new life is surprising and kinda heartwarming. I definitely recommend this book to everyone!

Easy interesting read! Thoroughly enjoyed! Well developed believable characters. Held my interest and read in one sitting. Wished there was more to the story.
