The sideboard Grömitz V2 combines an attractive display cabinet optic with handy storage solutions, resulting in an exciting overall appearance. The drawers in the centre of the sideboard are soundlessly running on telescopic slides made of metal and offer plenty of storage space. Behind the two partial glass doors you can find two flexible glass shelves that are decently supporting the elegant look of the sideboard. With the optional LED lighting you can individually highlight your favourite pieces. The sideboard consists of a matt, melamine covered carcass (top and sides) and comes in the trendy colour black with a fine wood structure. The front is made of MDF and is either available in high gloss or in wood grain optic; both with rounded edges (especially important for the safety of children). The surfaces in wood grain optic in the colours Avola-Champagne, Avola-Anthracite, Rough-sawn Oak and Mali-Wenge present a subtle wooden structure. The handles are made of silver plastic and the assembling tools are made of metal and ensure a firm installation. For more stability and endurance telescopic slides made of metal are used for the drawers. An easy to follow assembly instruction ensures a straight forward self-assembly of the unit.Measurements of the sideboard in cm (WxHxD): 166 x 72 x 35The LED glass edge lighting which can be seen in the pictures is not included in this offer. Please order it separately. Our recommendation is to install the set with two LED glass edge clips. You can find it when entering the following into the search field: LED RGB Glass Edge Lighting Clips Set of 2

Looks great (from a distance), but low quality construction, at a high price.
In all honesty, the designs of the products available here are great, but the manufacturing/construction falls short and lets it down and I suggest that with better manufacturing and build quality, they would be worth the price tag or more.It is pretty much as described and the finish on the door fronts are good, raspberry colour darker than the photos but nice, and that’s where it ends. Its like a flatpack from the early 80’s, with the worst construction of drawers, hinges worse than 30yr old hinges (I've seen a lot), confusing instructions, so my advice is to spend a tedious hour counting screws, adding them up, deducing where they're to go before you begin, check again, and then realise you will have some left over for another unit, that shares the same instructions, but different doors, and do it all again.Should be sold as 'only suitable for hard floors' due to the poor hinges, and cheap tiny shallow feet (that you have to measure and make own holes for I add), making the doors unable, even after adjustment, to be opened on a carpeted floor, of which mine isn't particularly deep or high quality (and yes, the floor is level). Doors also cannot be perfectly aligned, as the hinges simply do not have the amount of adjustment required in their range. This results in a slightly uneven and 'non-flush' look to the door edges and uneven gaps between the doors and drawer fronts.Cheap mat silver painted plastic handles, where you can see (And sadly, feel) the moulding line on the front of them, which I wish I had not fitted, as now the holes have penetrated the surface and upgrading them later will now be difficult. There are two alternative positions for the glass shelves, but this is useless, considering the great big, visible, light coloured, horizontal line in the black back panel being on display, unless you have the shelf in the one and only position to hide it, so you cant see it through the door glass, especially if you light it up (not that it came with lights as pictured). There is not even a thought to provide door stops (tiny cushioned stick-on circles) to stop your glass fronted door banging shut. To make the door glass fit properly and line up with the carcass, it has to be moved towards the centre of the unit, leaving the 2 back glass brackets, which have pre-drilled screw guides, as completely pointless, as they don't reach the glass. At £199, I am happy about the look and colour of it, even the external finish to some degree, but for the price, I would expect higher quality in the fixtures (drawer construction, runners, feet, hinges and handles), and I ask the seller to take a lesson from Ikea in many respects. Design is one thing, but if the construction is poor and cheap, it lets the overall product down, which is reflected in this review and others just like it.

DO NOT BUY if you value your money and sanity
Beware if you're considering buying this, I saw some similar reviews to mine and thought they can't be right but they really are. DO NOT BUY, unless of course you enjoy hour after hour of looking at the 3 pages that are included that are titled assembly instructions, that couldn't be further from the truth, there is no writing or step by step instructions, just a few pictures of the parts which you must the attempt to understand how the person that drew them would like it put together! And that really is just the start of things to come, some of the parts have been cut as to fit so tightly that they barely fit together without risk of damaging the product. Basically this sideboard looks nice, but if you value your sanity then do not buy and especially for the price- 8xpieces of chipboard, 4 x basic drawer units although with metal runners and PLASTIC HANDLES which I will replace on my unit with quality metal ones soon. I am a pretty competent DIYer and have built many flat pack items, kitchen units, bedroom furniture etc etc but NEVER have I had anywhere near as much trouble as I have with this product. 3hrs so far to build and I still have one glass door to build, 3xdrawer units, and a redesign for the legs to do as the unit is not supported on the back in the middle as it is on the front.

A classy addition to any home
This unit is absolutely perfect.. It was exactly what I expected and it did not disappoint with both it's style, quality and usefulness.. The ultimate way to store my extensive collection of Brandy and other fine spirits. I cannot recommend this enough, and with the optional led glass shelve lighting it's even more stylish at night....

Looks great
I recently bought this as it looks very modern and would suit the look of how I've decorated my living room. The package arrived in 2 boxes but the instructions are more like a guideline rather than steps, you definitely need to be good at putting this stuff up if you buy it.When it arrived I also had a chip out of the bottom base of the wood, when the doors are on and shut you cant see it but for the price I'd expect it to be perfect. When fully set up and complete it's a worthwhile piece of furniture but it is complicated to put together due to the instructions not being very well written out.

Good
Product for Sideboard Chest of DrawersLooks good but the trouble is setting it up with poor instructions not really helpful have to follow pictures and some of the stuff is really cheap wood easy to break which happened to me now my chest of drawers is ruined also note following chest of drawers you partly need to put glue down on there to hold it together instead of having some holes so you can screw them in to make it better and more sturdy.Overall 3/5

Nice finish
I like this unit apart from the plastic handles. I think for the money stainless handles should have been supplied. I may change the handles myself at a later date. Be careful as well as in the picture it is lit up but it did not come with lights. I ordered them separately £12. Apart from that it's a very nice unit.
