Bobbin jar, Black

These bobbins are fantastic. I originally tried them in white and could not believe how easy they are to use and have had zero tension issues and did not make any changes to the bobbin case tension. Right out of the box they were perfect.Then I needed red and gold for a project and found these in small quantities.Right away these seemed just a tiny bit thicker than the white filament magna-glide, and felt like they didn't glide through the case hook as well as I expected. The white ones felt like they had the same tension and glide as the old cardboard Coats brand that I have been fighting with for years. So thinking it was too tight, I loosened the tension a little on the bobbin case and should not have done that. With tension set at what looked and felt "correct", it was actually too loose and the red and gold and everything was a loopy mess at first. As soon as I put the tension back to where it was when using the white magna-glide bobbins, everything stitched perfectly again.Moral of the story, try them at your machines normal bobbin tension before making any setting changes.

My Juki Dx7 loves these bobbins. They just glide like butter in my machine. No tension problems. Only bobbins I use now. No winding of bobbins is a plus for me and there is more on them then when I wind them myself. Happy sewer here!!

They fit my machine but were not on an actual plastic bobbin making it dislodge when down to a quarter of thread left. This leads to waste as it becomes dislodged from its location causing the sensor to go off and unable to use all of the thread. When using it performed very well! They just need to put it on an actual bobbin.

This only has bobbin thread around center tube. When it got small, it just flipped around in bobbin case and didn’t work. I bought this and light gray. Very disappointed. Do not recommend. If I had noticed before using, I would return

Make sure that you order the correct size like I did. They work great. I have only tried them in my multi needle machine but I am sure that they will work in both my single needle machines too if I remove the spring in the bobbin case. Don't use them too much since I got the multi one though.

These are exactly as promoted, but my machine just will not work correctly with them.

My machine hates these. Likes plastic sided bobbins. Uses 1/3 rd and quits.

Great for dark colored monogramming projects!
