after nearly two decades of use, the cutting edge on my Kubota bucket loader was worn out and I priced a new replacement bucket and decided to put a new cutting edge on instead. Great item and very happy. Long process to cut the old one off and then tack the new one on, but well worth it!

Really hard steel. Welded it to the bottom of my loader so I can us my bucket to smooth out backwards without tearing up my bucket.

I have purchased 2 of the 3/4" thick edges. One was 60" and the other was 74". Welded with 7018 welding rod. I did not have a problem with this approach. I did put a bit of an arch in the edge after I tacked it. About 3/4" of arch using 2 wood working type pipe clamps, because as the weld on the top of the edge cools it can arch the edge in the opposite direction as it cools and shrinks and that will make the bucket edge not flat for working on flat areas or leveling. I used 1/8" 7018 rods set at 130-140 amps. 7018 rods can stick a bit on start up. Just start striking a few inches from where you need to weld. Once you get it going they are very easy to weld with, it's just the start.
