My husband and I have been using these on our feather down pillows over a month. I usually double-up on pillowcases anyways, but I've checked this cover and still no feathers poking through! It's amazing

There were several choices of pillow protectors from different brand names and wasn't sure which one to choose from. I chose this one and they appear to be of good quality. I"m not sure what the outside cover material is made off but it appears it would be water proof. I have not had any liquid spills on them so i cannot attest if they are water proof or not. They have not been uncomfortable and have not had any feathers poking through. At this time i have not used them long enough to know if this will be an issue with long term use and is why i did not give it a 5 star rating.

Just what I was looking for with thread count and all cotton. Excellent quality! Washes very nice. Crisp and clean looking.

My 20 y.o. down pillow finally bit the dust. Tried a memory foam replacement. Nope, didn't work. Got a down pillow. I hope I won't need this to keep the feathers in place.

I absolutely luv these. Haven't had a feather poke me in the face since I put them on. I need to buy a second set for my other pillows, I wanted to try them first before buying more.

I bought for feathers pillow . I moved feathers from old pillow cases to this pillow protectors.

Had two very high quality down pillows that were stained from well over a decade of usecut them open and carefully transferred down (no feathers) into these cases and hoped that theywere downproof as claimed. They are 100% down proof after testing for several weeks. Zippers are tiny and difficult to prevent down from clogging to close but possible if you go slow and remove down when closing.All together very high quality!

After my initial purchase, I ended up buying more. I have 100% down pillows that tend to shed. These not only prevent down from escaping, but they have kept my expensive pillows in excellent condition. I frequently wash these covers, and they have held up well. The zippers and fabric have repeatedly survived the washer and dryer for over a year now with no signs of deterioration. They are also very soft, though I do use them under regular pillowcases. I can't say for certain if they help with allergies (although I believe they do), but they have done a great job of protecting my pillows.
