The Addicted Series Box Set

Most of the books are written in dual first person POV. Good amount of sexy times in each. Little bit of snarky humor but some tissues are needed. Be advised, the first book starts with both main characters sleeping with other people. No details are given but some people have a problem with that. I read the Like Us books 1-6 first which is about the children of the Calloway sisters (Addicted is about Lily Calloway) so I knew some things that happened but not everything. I always thought that Lily and Lo “enabling” each other meant that they just fed each other’s addictions (she cleaned him up if he drank too much and in return he provided her with sex). In actuality, they pretended to be in a relationship so that they could lie to their families and still do what they wanted. This is resolved fairly early on but it’s still a bumpy ride for them.

I’ve spent the past week of my life struggling with Lo and Lily through the ups and downs of their relationship. Sometimes the villains win and triumph in real life. In this instance in spite of the relentless winning of the villains, the heroes in this piece also win in their own right.I cried copious tears through this series. My heart burned and ached for this dear couple. I couldn’t pull myself away from Lily and Lo to follow the Calloway Sisters series, but I will double back to give them their due. This week was dedicated to Lilly and Lo. I read Moffy’s book first and it whet my appetite to see where it all began. I’m so happy that I did.

The series I can't recommend enough to all who are willing to listen to me! If I have to choose which books I can read for the rest of my life, i will choose this series in a heartbeat bec I never get tired of these characters!

I have followed these characters through a lot. I just finished this series and have read two of the books from the Calloway sisters. I have read Willow and Garrisons duet and all the books currently out with their children. I have enjoyed this series and now understand more about these characters because I actually started with Maximoff and Farrows books first. I had times when I felt like they should just grow up and become upstanding adults, but some people just have to take a different journey.

How it shows you can over come an addiction, sure it's a battle and a constant struggle, but with ppl you love and that love you and support you you can over come it. What i didn't really like is how you hit it dead on the head how ppl in the world will judge you criticize and put there own little spin on how thing really are, but in reality if your not a addicted and never have had an addiction you will never truly know what we go through and the struggles that we really face every day. It's not as easy as saying put the bottle down walk away never touch it again or stop having so much sex, watching porn or whatever, or stop using drugs or whatever the addiction is it a battle and fight the we as addicteds go through and ppl will never understand. Thank for the books as an addict I can relate to the struggle they had and it opened my eyes to other addicts and addictions. So Job well done!!!

This series grabbed my attention from the beginning and I fell in love with every single character as their stories unfolded. I found myself torn between not wanting to put it down, devouring pages for hours on end--and and the same time, trying to savor it like my favorite dessert, forcing myself to put it down for awhile, just so it would last longer. I already know that I will rediscover this series, along with the Calloway Sisters spinoff series over and over again, and never get bored of them. AMAZING WRITING!!!

This was an AMAZING story. I could not put it down and I recommend it highly. The insight into addiction and the highs and lows were spot on and the characters are very well written. A++++

I liked Rose ...Lily whah whah ...my mother never spent time with me so I will flunk out of Penn and become a slut ...no redeeming qualities or likeability...never saw so many losers with money

This series is epic. If I could give 6 stars, I would!The story of Loren (Lo) and Lily (Lil) is a testament to friendship, acceptance, love and redemption, that lasts a lifetime. Through the worst humiliations and breaches of a person's privacy, this couple had each others' backs, while battling crippling addictions.I laughed, I cried, I gasped and I sighed (with pleasure) at this wonderful series of books.

I have read so many books so far but this is the first time i want to write a review. My love for Lo and Lily is because of the relapses, mistakes and selfish thoughts they had while narrating the story to us. That part of the book is human and it’s not like they feel it and then all of a sudden they just apologize and we go on happy happy, they dwell on it, they realize and try to move on. I love the idea of soulmates but all the epic stories i have read so far does not involve the human factor in and this does. I am LiLo fan for life. I love Rose and her love for her sisters it’s just so heartwarming because for some reason i can relate to that i can do anything for my siblings and so can she. I wish to have Connar’s understanding but i thinks it’s not my game but i can hope. Rykes love for Lo is something i can relate to the whole Raisy is not something i can enjoy.The whole LiLo actually is something that does make me feel it’s too good to be true but i still think it’s the most well written characters of all. I love them. I wish we had this love in real life too and superheroes common that was the winner for me I am huge Marvel fan and so are they so it was like win win.Soulful, Loyal and MOST IMPORTANT human - that’s LiLo for me.

Seriously, read it. You will not regret. It is by far the best series I have ever read (numerous times). It has stories and characters that never ever get old or repetitive.

Loved this series. Characters are so lovable and such true raw human emotions that makes you feel their pain.
