I have used this stuff for awhile and it works. it is not as shiny as using boiled linseed oil and CA medium glue but it is easier to apply and i found out if u add boiled linseed oil right before you apply the wax it looks better. the great thing about this stuff is it last a long time and it is safe. non toxic food safe so i think you can use it for bowels and cups. but i don't think you can use it in a washer machine.

Good for woods

Love this stuff! Easy to apply and gives a great hard wearing gloss finish. Won’t hide tool marks or poor sanding but if you can handle a good sharp bowl gouge, this will give you a great finish.

Works well, but remember no wax will cover up the lack of proper sanding. This is a high speed friction wax, it needs to be polished with a cloth or paper towel while the object is spinning at high speed. The friction (Heat) is what melts the wax and brings it to a beautiful finish.
