Fresh Mamey (Set of 2)

I've ordered 3 times now. The second was for my mother, who was trying this fruit for the first time, and she very much enjoyed it. The third time, the fruit was spoiled and when I sent photos to the seller, they responded within a day and said they'd send out a new shipment. I had yet to open the second fruit and thought it could be good, so I only asked for half a refund, but they were willing to send a whole new set. When I saw that the second piece was bad as well, a couple days later, I let them know and had two ripe, sweet and custard-y sapotes at my door within just a few days. Highly recommended, indeed! :)

Fruit was awesome, always come rotten

Tastes amazing, like sweet potato / pumpkin pie and the value for the money is insane considering I received more than supposed to. The quality was fresh and the perfect amount of ripeness surprised me. I only had a small cut of “damage” from the shipping process on A mamey, sapotes survived!

Seller sent three (3) fruit but not happy with the size sent for the price paid. Will not purchase from this seller again.

Taste great sweet kind like. Pumpkin

Package arrived 5 days late. The product was over ripe, very small, and moldy inside.

I've loved this fruit since I found it about 6 years ago. It's like a cross between a sweet potato and a pumpkin. It has the texture of custard. It's very sweet. Some find it overly sweet but to my taste buds it is perfect. I've ordered this product twice from this seller. The first time the order came quickly and the mamey sapote was still rock hard. So I put it next to some bananas and within 24 hours all 3 mamey sapote were ready to eat. I kept them in the refrigerator once they were ripe and this helped slow the ripening process. The 2nd time I ordered it took two weeks for the package to arrive, despite the seller shipping it priority mail. The product was spoiled when it arrived due to the delay in shipping. I contacted the seller through amazon and they quickly shipped me out a replacement order. When that arrived, the mamey sapote was already ripe so again I put it in the fridge and enjoyed them over the next few days. This is definitely a seasonal fruit. It cost about $25 the first two times I ordered. It was worth the price to me because of my love for good, rare fruit. God is really amazing with the variety of fruit He created. I encourage you to try this if you've never had it before! You might just find a new favorite, like I did. Thanks for reading this review!
