Very useful device for drilling inside walls to run cable
Some translations : by "Overall Height" / "Overall Width" = the diameter of the widest part (the head) is 9/16 inch."Outside Diameter" = The shank is 1/4", so less than half the size the bits need to be, so look for "reducing shank" bits, which are pretty hard to find. The shaft is somewhat flexible - I found I could bend it somewhat to get it into a hole I'd just drilled in the wall top plate, bending it a bit to fit under the roof. You want it straight though when actually drilling, and only use it at low speed. I found it useable, even with an 18 inch drill bit on the end if patient.

Did the trick!
We just bought an older home, and I've been trying to run ethernet throughout the house. Round with the cable running didn't go so well because we have braces in the wall.I bought this bad boy and was able to drill (carefully!) through the brace and get the cables down the wall. It's also handy for pushing my fishing line down the wall to pull the wire through.

Excellent tool to reach inside walls to drill holes for running wire. It is stiff, but flexes enough to get inside and allows you to put pressure on the drill to bore the hole. Did exactly what I needed!

Did the job perfectly. I was able to drill up inside my wall to the attic to pull a cable and used the bit extender to stub the cable itself as well.

The bit extension worked great.
I had to drill through a "fire wall" stud which was mounted 48" above my kitchen floor. I drilled from the basement and up trough the horizontal stud. The bit extension worked great.

MISLEADING TITLE - NOT FLEXIBLE
It is a solid rod, nothing 'flexible' about it. The title is HIGHLY MISLEADING.
