Do not buy this oil pump
I rebuilt my 2000 Ford explorer 4.0 sohc and put this oil pump in it, now I have to pull the engine again and pull the bottom send apart because this oil pump has no pressure relief on it or it broken. It keeps blowing the oil filter ring out and making a mess everywhere, the filter is bulged as well. This pump is a waste of time money and hard work.

this pump is defective
i rebuilt a ford 4.0 engine and installed this pump.it worked perfect for 2 days,then when i was 20 miles from home ,the bypass valve inside the pump went out and blew the top off of my oil filter .there was 5 quarts of oil under the truck on the ground.so now i have a towing bill plus having to remove the engine again.buying this was a big mistake!!!!!

Doesn't work
Intalled to 2008 ford explorer 4.0 limited, doesn't work and destroyed the engine. Don't waste your money and time.
