love the shoes. they are light and smooth through the toe off. not as harsh of a transition as other models. only complaint is the heel is a bit stiff but sure it'll go away once they're broken in. would highly recommend these newtons.

Best shoes ever for a forefoot runner.

I like the new design with the 5 bars on the sole instead of 4. This is a nice light weight shoe and my second pair of Newtons. I may need to run a few more times for higher rating. I love my Gravity's.

Comfortable enough for moderate to long runs vs my Merrills. Very happy w/ fit and feel. I am a fan of Newton now.

I participate in running events and have seen many runners use Newton shoes. So, I decided to give it a try and purchased a pair. Keep in mind, they do cost more than many other brands. I have been using them for about two weeks now and they have not met my expectations. The sole is wearing down rather quickly. In addition, they are not good for running on pavement as I feel the burning and friction in my feet when using them. I recommend other brands such as Saucony or Merrill, which are better for the price.

My trainer knew I was looking for a good comfortable workout shoe and recommended these Newtons. My feet love these shoes and will get another pair once these wear out…still going strong.

Newtons, great running experience. they take some getting used to (about 40 miles for me) but once you do, you will never look back. I once had knee, ankle and back problems. Not any more!

First set of Newton's. I love them. Next time I will buy the Newton's in the next tier above.
