This product seems well made.It is designed well, its not going to blow off in wind for instance as there is a neck strap. There are several popper to attach the face shield to, so its adjustable.The material was thinner than I expected, but when held up to the light it does seem to block it- so thats fine.It washed ok.The brim is very long, which is a good and a bad thing. It definitely creates a shadow for the face, but if you want to look up it feels a bit weird (as if it requires an unnatural neck movement lol). Still this is for shade not looking up, so that probably cant be helped.... I just wonder if with the face shield as well its really necessary for the brim to be so long.Sadly this product triggered migraine with me (its the headband thing) Im normally ok with baseball cap style hats, but even quite loosely worn, this was setting off an ache. So:(a) I have not been able to test it very well(b) it might do the same to anyone else affected by "external compression headaches"

Plastic buttons, one of the poppers holding the side/rear protection broke. And the long pieces of fabric that are supposed to protect the back of your neck have a big exposed parting down the middle making it useless. Avoid

Yes, it looks weird and makes you feel like Beau Geste, but it does what it says. Particularly like the neck cover which is a real benefit when the sun is beating down.

A good cap for walking in the sun. I haven't used the face mask part.
