Built Tough - Great for Tethered Shooting
I got this for my basement home photography studio. I used to shoot tethered with my laptop on a chair next to my tripod. With the 131DDB arm, the set up is now perfect. No more bending down to look at the laptop screen and no more having to worry about the long cord that could potentially trip someone up in the studio. My camera and the laptop are now on the eye level and right next to each other connected with a short cable. The arm is quite heavy but that is something I much prefer as it gives you a sense of rock solid foundation upon which to place the laptop and the camera or whatever else you want to throw on top (and the side ends) of this versatile arm. The built quality of the arm seems to be indestructible except for the turning knobs that are made of plastic. When I'm tightening these knobs, I'm careful not to use the very end of the knob where it's the most vulnerable. So far perfect.

Great option for grabbing a Close up and a WS or a MS off of one tripod! Very Sturdy
This is a solid option for people who shoot weddings and don't want to stack two tripods on top of each other for a Close Up and Medium Shot or Wide Shot.I have not field tested it yet, but in my living room this guy was super sturdy. I did some whip pans and saw little to no movement in the head on the other side of the Accessory Arm. I looked around at the cheaper Accessory Arms and saw that this was a big problem (Any movement on Camera A was seen on Camera B pretty bad) but not with this guy - it is simply great. I am shooting with it next week - and am looking forward to cutting down on my tripods by at least 1.

Excellent accessory arm
This is yet another fantastic product from Manfrotto. Its built tough, feels very stable, and the 4 heads make it extremely versatile. I got it for supporting the manfrotto table attachment for my laptop. The tightening knobs are very useful for positioning attachments facing in any direction you want - simply tighten the knobs and not the accessory being attached. The 2 sliding head mounts move smoothly along the arm and the locking levers tighten securely, even though they are plastic. I highly recommend this if you want to attach two cameras, or a camera and a table attachment (for laptops, or projectors).Amazon's prime shipping was once again extremely fast as the 2-day shipping was right on time.

Solid and well built, but hard to get mounting connections tight.
Lives up to the Manfrotto quality reputation except for one minor dislike. The knobs/wheels used to attach to the tripod and the two adjustable tripod head mounts are a little hard to get tight. Hard to grip well and don't seem to cinch down well when making the attachments. Other than that, well constructed and solid. Very nice adjustment handles and action used to rotate and slide the connection points.

Manfrotto has never disappointed me
This is one of those things that I never could understand why you would want or need... and then I needed it, and manfrotto makes one, and it works, and it’s versatile, it’s not compact, she’s a big one, but she’s sturdy, and if you need this you were looking for sturdy so enjoy

Solid Accessory Arm
Solid Accessory Arm. Make sure you have a tripod that is heavy enough to support it! Don't go for a "portable" or "light" model. I use this with two off camera flashes equipped with Rogue Flashbenders for clinical lighting, and love the way it looks. I even have one of the accessory heads unused when I do this.

Constructed
I looked at all the alternatives before buying this accessory and the conclusion was "if I just spend the extra money for a better constructed product in the long run I would be happier with my This is my third Manfrotto product and I love it, the metal is solid and it holds my D700 with grip and heavy lens loose space or worrying weather its going to tip over. Just spend the extra money just for the confidence it will give you. Note this is a heavy accessory.

Love it!
This is heavy duty, as it should be. I have a little trouble keeping things tightened. The tightening knobs go separate ways, one way for the actual head, and the other for your camera, laptop holder, etc,. It was confusing me, so I just took a sharpie and drew little arrows in the proper direction to the tighten rings to make sure i was tightening rather than loosening. Other than that, which was really no problem, this is a really nice accessory arm!
