We have multiple exterior doors in our home and I wanted to use this to keep an eye on the basement doors both recorded and live. This seemed like a simple and cheap solution if it actually did what it said it does.I received the first one and right out of the box I discovered an issue where live view would freeze after 5-10 seconds on both phone and PC. Restarting the app, camera, adjusting wifi channels, and even setting it right next to my wireless router did not correct the issue. Speed tests on a smart phone confirmed there were no network issues on my end.I reached out to the company and they promptly sent a replacement. I threw the old one away and was excited to try the new. The new one’s feed did not freeze nearly as often, but it did happen from time to time. Playback worked decently, but you basically stream the photos off the SD card in the camera to your phone app. You can’t save the videos locally to your phone.. You can’t export the files directly to a PC without digging for a compatible codec (VLC did not work).NVR is not an option for this camera as it does support RTSP or other streaming protocols which was a big bummer.Image quality is as expected for the price point as long as the feed wasn’t getting compressed through the app.A week and a half later, the second camera died and refused to power on. I requested a refund and sent it back.I have noticed that the reviews show on this product mostly apply to another product that appear to be a pair of headphones. I have to wonder if they were intentionally trying to pull the old switcheroo on this product.

After seeing all the positive review, I decided to try it out. The camera will not pair after I followed all the instructions. Yes, I do have 2.4gh and there was no noise when I tried to send the sound wave. It will not connect with my internet. I contacted the seller and they sent out a few instructions on what to do. I followed each and everyone of them but still had the same results. Very dissappointed after reading so many good reviews.

Installed the Jawa application and followed the instructions (a little hard to understand some of the speech). Camera installed on side of house above the garage (fished a power extender cable (30' long) up the wall about 3' (used chain). Installed the 64G SDU card - lots of memory. Playback a little clunky. Using the alarm settings (default setting, a hard rain set off the alarm) to capture video clips. Will see how the camera holds up to the weather. Plan to buy another for the backyard.

This camera would not pair to my iPhone. Downloaded app and followed all directions but camera never blinked green for pairing. Customer support does not have a phone number and their response the following day to my email was exactly the same as the enclosed directions that came with the camera which does not address what to do if the camera does not blink green for pairing. Dozens of other cameras you can purchase for the same price so do not bother with this one.

Software easy to use and setup but performance was bad. When there was any motion the camera view became one big blur and the image froze on the screen. Refreshing fixed the problem but since I had cars constantly driving by the freeze frame was a constant problem. It is hard to say if it was a hardware (camera) or software issue (JAWA). I guess you can only use one software and so it is hard to know if the issue was software related --- too bad there isn't another software choice to try. I want a camera so I'll keep trying. This is my 2nd one so no luck so far but I'll keep searching. Maybe I need to spend more money on the product. As they say, you get what you pay for.

I wanted a system that would record continually. These work great. I'm only using 5 of them, but like having the extra for the future. I have the DVR hooked up to my TV and the pictures are very clear. I wish the log in info was more clear in the instructions though. I ended up googling it. When you right click the mouse to view a recording it asks for a password. Just leave it blank. That would of never occurred to me! I also use the app on my phone. My box states there is a cloud service, but I've never been able to access it. It only tells me it's not supported or something like that. I can view real time on my phone, but can not rewind it or view motion detection on my phone. Not the biggest deal, but I would like to have the option. Night vision works great too.

Product is junk. The app doesn’t work. Tried to call the company numerous times with no answer. Stay away from.

The camera was easy to set up and install. It took me a few minutes to set up the app, but overall it was simple. I neglected to read that the camera doesn’t move in any direction aside from where it’s pointed at. You can zoom in and out, but not side to side or up and down. I did end up returning the camera because it’s not what I needed, otherwise I would have kept it.
