We have tried several configurations in addition to the one in the instructions, but can still slip the end off the kayaks when on top of the car. But worked great to secure them to a tree while having lunch in town.. I'm sure we will get it.

This is great! I can’t wait to use it this week on my trip. It is sturdy and the length is perfect. It will allow me to use it with 2 kayaks so that both will be locked to my trailer. To change the combination is simple and easy to do.

I use this to secure a Blue Sky Angler 360 and it works flawlessly.

Bought this lasso to secure my kayak to a trailer while towing. Worked great and was easy to attach and lock. Worked so well I purchased a second one for another kayak.

Does what it states if you have a long narrow kayak. A wider kayak such as an angler the hooped cable slides right off every time.
