BESTON Portable Charger, 8000mAh Slim Power Bank, Portable Battery Pack for iPhone, iPad, Android Phones, Tablets

For those wondering about the size, see my photos. It is roughly the same size as the iPhone 5s pictured. I have a photo with it sitting on top of the 5s, one of the 5s on top of it from a top view, and another of the device sitting on top of the 5s. As you can see, there is very little overlap no matter which way you stack them. It is slightly smaller than an iPhone 6s. It weighs slightly more than my iPhone 5s that has a thin rubber case. In summary, this is a great power bank and remarkable that it has 8000 mAh in such a small size.The device is fairly slippery to hold; some may like that because it slips in and out of a pocket very easily. If you don't want it to slip around so much, I would recommend putting a strip of skateboard grip tape on it to resolve this. The charger does not get very hot.It can take several hours to charge the power bank from zero, if you believe the blinking blue light charge indicators. I let it charge overnight. With a proper apple certified cable, I believe their claim that it does charge at 2.1 amps per port, although I have no way to test this. It brings my phone 6s from zero to fully charged in less than 2.5 hours.I have not had this item long enough to tell you how many charges I get before it is useless, and I don't plan on keeping track. For $9 I don't care either. I have not been compensated or paid for my review, I'm just a regular Prime customer. This would be a great item to keep one in each car, just to have. I don't know how well it will stay fully charged in cold weather and whether cold temperatures will affect it (yet). I'm in the midwest, I'll know in a couple of months and if the cold has a negative impact I will update my review as best I can. I'm not putting it in a freezer to test it.Only con is that if you hit the power button accidentally, it will stop charging. It seems to turn off on its own after 30 seconds if it is not charging anything - again, if you believe the blue lights. One reviewer said that leaving it on will deplete it. I don't see how this is possible if it is not charging anything. The blue lights are so small they consume very little power, and they turn off after 30 seconds.I'm quite happy with this $9 power bank - for now. I will update if anything changes.

Compared to the two chargers I was using (which I may have drop on the ground a few times which may be causing the slow charging), this battery pack charges pretty fast and I can get from a 50% to a full charge within 1 hour and 10 minutes, shown in pictures. The other two chargers shown in pictures would take forever to get my phone to full charge. Size is about the same size as my old Samsung Galaxy S7 phone, I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S9. The cable does not come with it, so you would have to buy the cable separately since most battery packs only includes the mirco usb cable to charge the battery pack. Good battery pack for a good price. I have a Jonas Brothers concert coming up this weekend so I will see how well it works during the concert and update this review.Update 10/20/2019: So I used the battery pack during the concert today while I was taking videos with my phone and it works, phone got up to 75% but I was using my phone so that should be expected and the battery pack was still at full charge. Also, I still had it plugged in while walking back to the car and then my phone got to full charge. So this battery pack is good, I like it.

Nice for the price, very sleek looking in both matte and gloss black. I added a sticker to it and it hasn’t caused any overheating or anything. Takes awhile to charge up all the way, but that’s what gives it the capability to hold a good amount of power and to last for more charges. Has 2 USB ports to charge two devices at once. About the same width as my iPhone 7, an inch or so smaller in length and a little thicker. Just a little heavier than my iPhone 7 with the case on it. That’s the other thing—doesn’t come with a case, but that’s standard. Did come with a micro USB charging cord, but no power block adapter to plug it into the wall.Overall I’m happy with the purchase, I like how it fits into my bag easily and isn’t awkward or unsightly to carry around.

Way better than I was expecting! Took this to a concert on Sunday and charged my phone the entire time while recording and taking tons of pictures and then charged it for the hour bus ride home and still has some juice!! Told all my friends and family about this and they will also be buying!! Thinking of buying another for emergencies

I bought this BESTON portable charger several months back as a backup for when my current portable charger was not with me. As it turns out, my other portable charger recently was lost and so this became my only one. I charged it, then went to plug in my device - and it started charging! Wow, it did what I expected. I was happy it did what it said it would do... then, however, the blue lights went off with my device still plugged in and my device stopped charging. The only way I can get the charger to charge is to hit the power button every 30 seconds or so, which is not only inconvenient but ridiculous to have to deal with. I see others haven't had to deal with this, so my product might be defective, but unless BESTON comes out of the woodworks and helps me out it is too late to return this product for a refund. I am thoroughly disappointed with this purchase.

Purchased one for my daughter who travels daily with two kids and is constantly on her phone and misses calls due to her phone battery life. She is extremely pleased with this power charger. I am now please that I can reach her if needed and she will have power on her phone at all times in case of an emergency. I purchased a second for myself in case my power ever goes down at home or if I'm out for the day and don't know when I'll be able to charge up again. Extremely satisfied in knowing that I have peace of mind and a backup for power at any time. All for an extremely reasonable price. Excellent. I love it.

Does what it says on the tin 👍 would recommend pairing it with a good quality cable as I’ve found using cheaper ones results in the battery being drained without charging the device fully. Also do be careful when I setting the micro USB cable to charge the power bank. Didn’t realise I was pushing the cable in the wrong way and nearly pushed the port into the case completely, luckily I can still insert the cable to charge it
