Instar Mode Women's Solid Soft Stretch Long-Line Long Sleeve Cardigan [S-XL]

Alright, so this is going to be a little bit of a different review, but just hang in there.I bought this, along with a few other long red cardigans, looking for the best fit for a Captain Hook costume. (I was going a DIY route so that I could use it again after Halloween and get a little more bang for my buck.) This one was amazing. I could not believe how well it fit me and how high quality it seemed. But I had to return it. Say what?? I’m ballin’ on a budget, sister and one of the other ones I bought was perfect for Captain Hook. Even tho it broke my heart to send this back.It was a gorgeous red, just a little bit deeper shade than usual. Thick, but lightweight with an ever so slight stretch to it. It had an amazing hang to it - I was in sweats when I tried it on and it actually made me look slim and trim, hiding the bagginess of the sweats. It was a miracle, I can’t even really describe it. I wasn’t really able to close it all the way, but it didn’t matter because it sat perfectly on the ol’ girls and I wouldn’t have wanted it closed anyways. Ladies, this is what cardigan dreams are made of.Ok, down to logistics. I am 5’4” 185 lbs. Used to have an awesome hourglass figure, but I’ve struggled to get back to it after two kids. I still have a narrow waist, just a poochy stomach out in front. I tend to bounce between 12 and 14 depending on brand and style. A pretty steady L in most shirts. I ordered this in an XL thinking it would be a little bigger, which is what I needed for my costume. Well I got a little cocky on myself, because it fit like a glove. It honestly could not have fit better. All the more reason it hurt to send it back. It hit about two inches above my knee. It was perfect, and the day will come when I will buy it again and live in it forever.

Great quality cardigan! The camel color is definitely more oatmeal.

I love Olive Green, so was excited to see this sweater available in that color. However, the manufacturers are clearly confused on “Olive” - as you can see in the pic, their version is a deep Forest Green, almost bordering in Teal (on left, one of my existing Olive sweaters; at right, their version of Olive). Fit is also VERY snug - spandex-like - so if that’s your preference then go for it.

I love the mustard color! Perfect for the Fall weather. For sizing references, I am 5’8, 148 lbs and I ordered a medium. I love the length and the pockets add a touch of femininity and cuteness! The material is super stretchy and fitted in the arms. I probably would be able to fit in a size smaller but I am not exchanging. Fabric is so-so and snags easily. My only dislike is that the cardigan curves inward on the chest. Wish it was a straight line. Not my favorite fit but overall, I would recommend!

This sweater is super soft and cozy, however it runs VERY small. I recommend sizing up at least 1 or 2 sizes. It is thin and not great for extremely cold weather, but wonderful for fall or spring (around 55-65 degrees). I usually wear a large in sweaters and purchased a large in black, it is small and tight. I plan on ordering another one a size up.

The material has some stretch to it, not see through. Great winter cardigan. I would have given 5 stars but they sent me the wrong size. Thankfully it is stretchy enough that it fit (just a little snug). I ordered a large but they sent a medium. The length for the medium was the perfect length to go over my dresses that are "to the knee" I love the side slits because it let the pattern of the dress peak out the sides.

I really loved it and got many compliments on it! I wore a long sleeve shirt under it so I upped the size but it was still great!!! I would have given it five stars but after wearing in a few hours the seam came apart on one of the arms at my wrist. It is fixable but I was surprised that it happens after such a short period of wear, probably just a small defect

This is sweater is exactly as described and the color is vibrant. Good quality.
