QUIETIMER Nose Vents (qs8-13)

I have used duracoat for many years. I keep coming back to it. It is the easiest coating to use bar none. This color is great. I like the darker earth tone it provides. It is exactly as pictured. It even looks a shade dark green if you imagine it that way. Weird how the brain can play tricks. I used this to do a RI 45 ACP project gun and it looks really good. It is just enough different from most factory colors to make you go...hmm.. "that looks great". This color on slide and frame and everything else black to accent. Nice piece of combat hardware. Not jsut the gun .This coating is extremely durable .It will not wear like some other aftermarket finishes that I like and use at times but this one is tough hard duty and good to go. and It looks great if done right. It is amazing how gratifying it is to change the look of your gun and and how much it really changes the gun. It is like having a new gun. Terrific stuff. I used for the first time, the Prevail application. I think it cost me 12 bucks for the prevail sprayer and bottle. It sprayed the frame and slide on my 1911, twice, and the furniture on an HK 91 buttstock, hand guards and grip. about 8 ounces all together and I still could spray more. So it is as advertised. Good to go.

When sprayed it came out looking lighter than the picture and resembles the Magpul FDE color more than the picture used in this product discription. Still got the job done and the finish is good. Will try to post a photo when possible.
