Speaker Tweak
I owned a 5.1 tower speaker system. All speakers is placed on the wood and carpet floor with spikes. I purchased the Sonic Saucers and was surprise in the sound improvement. The stereo imaging was the biggest improvement. If you want to get the maximum performance from your speakers buy the sonic saucers.

Highly recommended
The disc really helped with the spikes and allowed the benefit of using the spikes to materialize on hardwood floors. They hold the speakers stands nicely in place and isolate the speakers from the floor. You can tell the difference in the sound of the speakers when they are on spikes and the sonic saucers vs. having the stand rest directly on the floor. The highs and mid-range are clearer and more articulate. For the price, I highly recommend them and taking full advantage of placing your speakers/stands on spikes when you have hardwood floors. Protects the floor surface and allows for benefit of component isolation.

Adequate, would appreciate a larger size for larger speakers
on small side. This means for larger speakers, slippage is likely while placing them and the placement is a bit more difficult. Also found that there is a hole going through the center so the speaker spikes protrude a mm or two into the "floor." Not significant. Maybe that is part of the design to prevent slippage? But that would result in a scratch to hardwood. Some suggest adding felt or duct tape to lessen movement, but given their location, not expecting to worry about movement. If you have tower speakers and tilt to get one under, that's when you'll have the risk of movement.

Good, but pricey.
They work as advertised and I recommend them. But, they are overpriced. If I had a metal lathe, I could make these for a fraction of the price.

For Audiophile Consideration on Hard Wood Floors
Got nice hard wood floors that I wanted to preserve from the spike feet of my speakers and audio cabinets. These saucers maintained solid and tight sonic definition of my music and still keeps my floor from being "spiked" up.

Great protection for my floors.
Sonically, I'm not sure in my home I'm getting much benefit. But, my hardwood floors are much happier and they look great.

They are slick on the bottom and useless on hardwood floors because the subwoofer skates around all over the place with these under the spikes.
