I Love This Thing!
Used one for the first time in a hotel in London—exact same model, wall mounted. Very impressed with ease of use. As the before and after photos show, it didn’t eliminate all the wrinkles however there is great improvement in addition to renewing the front crease on trousers. The results depend on the fabric involved. I suspect wool and polyester blends will do better than linen. Easier than ironing and provides a convenient place to safely hang the jacket.

Great Pants Press
My husband had a previous pants press he had for at least 20 years until it gradually stopped working. I couldn't find the brand name on it but it was a sturdy model, made out of wood and metal. After researching several models/reviews I settled on this brand and model. This model is mostly made out of plastic parts with a cardboard-type backing. (Our model was damaged during shipping with a small hole in the cardboard backing; however, since it didn't impact the performance and you don't see it, we kept it.)My husband only wanted a pants press that didn't have all the bells and whistles on it. (If there had been a pants press that didn't include the coat hanger, that would've been the choice.) This model has 3 time settings that is displayed with red LED lights. When the time is done "0" displays and remains lit until next used...no way to turn it off.Placement of the pants in the press is critical to avoid unforeseen creases. If you are careful in placing the pants in the press, you should not have any issues. (I did read where certain types of fabric may not be as suitable for the pants press simply because of additional creases so it's something you may want to consider depending upon your wardrobe.)For functionality I give it a 5. For cheaper materials (plastic and cardboard-backing) I give it a 3. Hence, the 4 rating.

Value
I have used this same model for the past 20 years. This is my 3rd - they typically last 5-7 years. I highly recommend the product.

Can't live without this
Alas, the 35 year old one died. Got a new one. Saves on sending stuff to the cleaners when all those pants needed was a good press. Sometimes we put the pants in without heat as the pressure can take the wrinkles out too. Great product for men and women.

Even if it Worked, It Wouldn't Reach the Worst Wrinkles
I bought this with very high hopes. I wear dress slacks nearly every day, and don't like to iron. Once I set it up, I tried it on my lightest wool slacks. I used the shortest setting. No removal of wrinkles occurred at any spot. So I cycled up to the next setting, and then the longest - same results. All the wrinkles were still there. So basically, it didn't work at all. (I could feel the heat it produced, so I knew it was on).Having said that, even if it HAD worked, it's not designed to get one of the places wrinkles most develop - around the crotch area, just below and to the sides of the zippers. That part of the pants remains outside of the device. It would have been essentially useless to me no matter what.Unfortunately, it was a busy time and I missed my window to return it. I'll give it to a local thrift shop. Hopefully it can de-wrinkle someone's tshirts or something.

Pays for itself
This is my second Corby; the first one only lasted about 20 years. If you're not a fan of ironing, but do like having pants with crisp lines, buy this with confidence.

Not hot enough to press pants
I wish there was a temperature adjustment for this product. This is overpriced. You are better off getting a steam press for the same price which is much more flexible and higher quality.
