Not 16MP, only 4 maybe 5, cant remember but it isnt even close to 16
I bought this for my 10 year old so she could take pics in the pool. This camera takes pics about the same quality as your old phone, I'm talking your old phone before you got your first smart phone. The 16MP ad is very misleading as it only has a mere 4. The latch to keep the battery in place always slips off which turns the camera off. BUT like I said, I bought this for my 10 year old so it is exactly the price point I wanted and I love that it doesn't require batteries (you plug in to charge it). So, over all, disappointed in the tricky and deceptive "16 MP" banner they're flying, but still relatively happy with the camera.

DO NOT PURCHASE!
Took this on a trip. Was underwater by 3 feet? max and this fogged up the lens. Then completely stopped working. We got it back to our hotel to find water inside.. photos ruined..This is a waste of money. By a cheap, disposable under water camera instead..
