Love the fresh smell of red cedar, and the beautiful red and yellow grain variations. Looks great with other wood furniture. Folds up nicely, but it's so beautiful, I don't feel like hiding it in a closet or under the bed! I also love the height, I'm tall, and nothing worse than my suitcase sitting too low. (I purchased 2, both were same quality, and no shipping damage)The downside is small - The wood is fresh cut with sharp edges, which splinter easily, such as both ends... The feet show small splinters where they contact the floor or catch the carpet, and the top has sharp edges to watch out for when either picking up or setting my luggage on top, or when walking past. Being a soft wood, these same sharp edges will dent and splinter over time due to wear and tear of setting heavy luggage on top, with wheels and hard edges making contact with that beautiful cedar. An additional manufacturing process of rounding over those edges slightly, after cutting to size, would go a long ways on this folding luggage stand. Also the top straps are made of a soft stretchy faux leather or upholstery fabric. I was expecting a soft nylon webbing or strapping, which is stronger and doesn't leave some straps sagging while others are taught.But overall, it would be wrong to give this rack anything less than 5 stars.

I was willing to pay double the cost of functionally similar racks because this was US made from solid wood. It arrived fully assembled and easy to set up. The cedar aroma is, as others have noted, a bit strong, but I like it. It’s natural, and will fade over time. For the the most part the rack feels sturdy, but I’m disappointed in the lack of thought given to how the shelf is stapled together. It looks cheap, not what I expected in an 80 dollar luggage rack. The staples could be driven from the underside and not show at all. I’m also surprised by how the edges of the legs are sharp enough to hurt somebody. 60 seconds with a sander would have made an appreciable difference. I’m all for supporting American manufacturing and expect to pay more in doing so, but I think it’s fair expect superior workmanship in exchange.Shipping was prompt and delivery was initially attempted quickly, but since the seller required a signature for drop off, arrangements had to be made with Fedex for Saturday delivery when someone would be home. We live in an area where packages are routinely left without signatures. I didn’t request this restricted delivery and had no idea the seller had until I called Fedex after getting their second notice.

Very sturdy, very nice

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this luggage stand. The sweet odor of cedar greeted me when I opened the box. The stand is sturdy, well made, and has eye appeal. IT sticks slightly when opening, but I am sure that will change with use. Definitely worth the price.

I decided to give this luggage rack a try after noticing that all the others available, even if highly rated, had a significant number of reviews complaining about early breakage, inconsistency of production, or even arriving broken. I was not disappointed. The construction is very robust, I suspect stronger than all the other wooden suitcase racks out there. The wood is unfinished and smells of fresh cedar. The product was well packed and quickly delivered. All around, I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is a beautiful and aromatic cedar luggage rack. Extremely well made and love that it is made in the USA! Should hold up well to frequent use with suitcases. Only wish that is was sanded down just a little more, had a splinter and in places felt rough. Overall, highly recommend this.

seems very sturdy and well built. love the cedar look and aroma. only had it a week so time will tell if it holds up over a couple years of use. best one I could find for a coastal environment since it will not rust like others made of metal.

This looks very nice in a guest room and has already been used. The cedar smell was quite strong and needed to be aired out for several days before use. Not an unpleasant smell but strong for my small guest room. I would purchase another one if needed.
