Good until it breaks
Good for travel, but breaks easily I bought it three different times and each one of them broke in the same spot.

Great for weigh-ins
I am delighted with this collapsible shoe horn. Lately I've had a number of doctor visits and want to take my shoes off for the weigh-in, but can't get them back on without a long shoe horn and carrying a long one is awkward at best. This gadget fits easily in my purse and extends to fit my need, then retracts to go back in my purse. It's a bit heavy so I don't carry it in my purse all the time, just when I know I'll need it. Mostly for me, that's for doctors visits, but it works for air travel too, and when I go to a shoe store to try new shoes. I'm older and usually wear what my grandchilden call 'Air Grammas' :). I have elastic laces in them so they remain comfortable throughout the day even if my feet swell. That makes it easier for me to get them on, but not for a shoe store clerk, so if they don't have a long shoe horn available I can use my handy one.It extends to the length you need whether that's not too long if you're seated, all the way up to what a tall man would use when standing. I'm only 5'3" so don't need to extend it fully when I'm standing.I'm trying to lose weight and find that standing on a scale wearing shoes affects the number more than the weight of the shoe, plus then they check my height and that's compromised by the shoes too. Now I can manage that process without shoes and am much happier.

Finally, the Perfect Shoe Horn!
This is a very cleverly engineered and well-made telescoping shoe horn. Not everyone will care about this, but for those of us who have had back surgery or have other mobility limitations, being able to put on shoes in a dignified manner in public is a big deal. Gone are the days of horror when I'm asked to remove my shoes at a friend's house, my EaseSqueeze Pocket Shoe Horn is neatly and discreetly tucked in my pocket. I can easily switch between boots and shoes, just like a regular person. The materials are excellent quality stainless steel and plastic, the finish and fit are far better than I expected and well worth the price. The only improvement comment I can made is that the top section tends to collapse when putting on tight shoes, to compensate I grab the second section which stays extended better. Thanks EaseSqueeze, this is a life changer!

Works as advertised but shoe horn breaks after months
This product is okay and works as advertised and makes it through airport TSA checkpoints with your carry on items. The only problem I have had is after a few months of moderate use the plastic shoe horn piece starts to split in half. The seller advises that they do not sell parts so you will need to replace this $20 product every few months.

Nifty shoe horn with extension
It is a great design and very handy with a sturdy extension handle. Two things that concern me is that the plastic horn cup receives a lot of stress so I don't know how long it will last. I try to be carful and have used it many times. Secondly, it is a little tricky to press the small spring loaded bearing to unfold the shoehorn and also to fully collapse the unit. I will probably buy another as a spare. Very compact unit that is easy to carry in your pocket.

Simple and good.
This works as advertised, seems durable and is one of those small improvements in comfort which I wish I had found sooner. One observation which knocks a star off, the blade can come off when snapping to full extent. Goes back on with a little fiddling and not a big deal.

The 10 cent plastic horn broke so I have to throw away the $20 shoe horn.
i've had this shoe horn almost a year to the day when the 'horn' broke -- much as others have reported on here. I actually bought 2 of these because I liked it a lot - compact lightweight and easy to use. BUT is $20/year too MUCH to pay for a shoe horn? YES, in my humble opinion. When my "backup" shoe horn breaks I will probably not replace it. It would reflect a higher level of customer service from the Vendor if they would send out replacements of the cheap plastic horn instead of making you throw the whole thing away. So for the flawed engineering of the horn and the indifferent customer service -- thumbs down.

It works
The shoe horn works. However, the wrist strap broke while taking it out of the package. (Very difficult to unpackage. Use scissors!!) All the seller could tell me was that he has sold hundreds of these and he has never been told that the wrist strap was broken. Well, MINE BROKE DURING UNPACKAING! He stated that it was easy to fix because the tip screws off. That may be true if the little string wasn't broken on the wrist strap. Well, MY LITTLE STRING IS BROKEN. Thank goodness that the wrist strap is not a necessity for its operation. It works okay...
