I began with an open mind
I rarely give bad reviews. In fact, this is only my second one. But this book deserves it.This book is a self fulfilling prophecy on the part of the author. He claims that the government labels whistle blowers as insane in order to discredit them. The implication being that if you disagree with the author or think he maybe nuts for his claims, then you are part of the problem. Or on the evil government's side. He's using the same manipulation that he claims the government uses, on the reader. How convenient.I had an open mind when I started this book, but I have two major issues: The first is that he gives no real evidence or documentation to substantiate these claims. He accused the President of Hitler-like governing, without drawing parallels or examples. This is nothing more than empty Obama bashing. But again, I'm not supposed to question the author, right?Secondly are these microchips that a small segment of our society seem to be all worked up about. The author claims we already use them by putting them in our pets to keep tabs on them. So why not people? No... that's not how it works. There is no technology available to veterinary medicine that allows a pet to be found using GPS. That would require a two-way power source; You'd need a battery for that, and we can't dig a chip out of Fluffy every few years to replace or recharge it. The chips that we use in the vet's office are very simple and rudimentary and only work with a scanner. Think of it like the strip on your credit card. The strip doesn't need anything to give information. But it does need a power source to pick up that information. A pet chip works just like your credit card. I work in a Vet's office; I know exactly how these chips work. The author also claims that these chips can alter behavior. He cites a YouTube video from the 60's, of a bull who no longer attacked when seeing the color red. If we could alter animal behavior like this, then shouldn't we be able to send Fluffy directions, into her brain, so she could find her own way home? Shouldn't the technology have progressed by now?The author suggests that only the government has access to inventors with these capabilities. I find it unbelievable that a country of nearly 314 million people, only those who work for the government can come up with these inventions. If the government could invent a tracking device based on a pet chip, then surely other folks who are private citizens could duplicate it in order to prove claims, like the one the author is making. Now, is there an advanced version of these chips that the men-in-black inject, into unsuspecting whistle blowers? Maybe. But I'd like some sort of proof other than the author's word for it. Have surgeons ever removed them from people? X rays? Where are these chips? There are lots of independent, non-partisan, reputable groups who would love to publish this kind of information. Some of what the author claims is plausible, but conjecture from an Obama bashing author, who has an agenda to sell books is not enough to sway me.I believe that Edward Snowden is a patriot. I know that J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI were guilty of constitutional violations and other high crimes. I believe that our government today, is guilty of playing favorites and creating propaganda and smear campaigns against some of its citizens. Our past and recent history is full of these inexcusable offenses. But those events do not make Michael Fleming's version of the truth, factual. At least it is super short.

Good Summary
Very relaxing! This book is a fast read and sums it all up very well. It would be better to add a bit more about spiritual warfare because this is just the way it is and has been for generations in all nations and all times. Don't you wish your parents knew this stuff and warned you before you had to learn it the hard way? If this was presented in all high school classrooms nobody would cause waves, there would probably be no one to put on a 'list' and many would follow Jesus to the promise land while being a good servants whose work gives honor to the Lord, much like Daniel did in Babylon. I do recall Daniel did get his country back at the end of his life. If American's are given the right information they often can be trusted to make the right choices. Deception is not what God wanted for men to engage in. Love your neighbors, bless your enemies and always give thanks to the Lord for His mercy endures forever! Peace to all!

wake up america! the folks enduring this are not crazy. they are actually experiencing this!
in one sense it's a relief that one is not alone, or crazy as many would have him believe!it's given in bullet point style - brief and to the point... so the reader can check into those topics he's interested in - more in depth, & not wade thru a lot of material or fluff.I purchased a 2nd copy for a friend of mine, who has endured this for years, and who's family ridiculed and outcast him from familial association when he tried to explain all the crap he was experiencing was actually real and not his imagination. they even put him in jail, then a mental hospital for a while... he's also had to move around a lot. there are many other in depth books but this one was a lead in or intro to that reality others are experiencing non-stop, 24/7.

The truth and only the truth...
I am a Ti. This stuff is real and I finally feel like I am acknowledged! I am being targeted by a local gang....actually,two local gangs. One person believes me because he has seen the evidence and has taken the time to get to know me. The rest think I am insane and I have paranoid schizophrenia. I take their medication to appease my loved ones. Being stalked and having absolutely no privacy sucks.

Why you need to read and keep Tortured in America.
Good informative and concise information when you need to know. Every individual chosen for this experiment would benefit themselves by reading and keeping this book in your library for reference or explanations that are easily used for proof that it is now being used on Many. Even world wide, and what it means for the future of our children and grandchildren.

It's the unfortunate truth
The author speaks the truth. To people who question targeted individuals sanity... Please look beneath the surface. Of coarse your government is not going to want to tell you that they are torturing and murdering people they don't want in this country. This is eugenics and it is a horrific crime.

Great to hear someone telling the facts
This was a good read. I wish more people would read this and books like it. We'd live in a lot closer world to true reality if everyone was educated on what is ACTUALLY real than what "they" want us to believe!

A meandering stream.
I wanted to support the writer of this book but it was terrible. It is a jumble of ideas thrown together in a meandering stream of consciousness. There are no chapters, headings or even page numbers. When an author repeatedly uses the phrase "Need I say more?" one has to wonder about the quality of the work. The answer is yes you do need to say more. More on a topic beyond two sentences before jumping to the next completely unrelated topic. Not worth the money. I find the bio of the writer as presented here very difficult to believe.

Very short book
Extremely short book, it was more like an essay. Not worth the expense. No personal stories, just a historical perspective.

I have never felt compelled to leave a review, ...
I have never felt compelled to leave a review, either positive or negative, until I read this book. Awful, awful dross. Akin to listening to a paranoid drunk at your local bar. Save yourself the money, if it's free save yourself the time and give this dreck the wide berth that it deserves.
