Worth the price! Excellent operation, simple to use right out of the box, sturdy. Ordered a cheaper scanner at first and you definitely get what you pay for. I returned the cheap one right after I tried to set it up and ordered this one instead. Much better!

We had problems in our retails stores with other Honeywell models because of difficulty reading the company specific barcodes. However this scanner has proven to work well with our barcodes in the past and these models from Amazon also worked 100% with no complaints from our retailers. Delivery was quick and completely met expectations.

Solved our scanning problem, specifically with the unit's ability to drop initial zeroes. Responsive and a big upgrade from our previous model. It occasionally doesn't wake up or respond when attempting to scan but normally works perfectly.

All three scanners are working as desired, shipment was fast and intAct upon arrival. Set up was literally plug and go. These units were replacements for two others we had in the facility that get used hundreds of times per day and they lasted over 8 years. Well made product, would highly recommend.

Installation on a Win7 machine using a USB port was very easy: P-N-P. I tested the scanner with a variety of barcode formats and it worked flawlessly. Although the price point was higher than some of the other scanners it appears to be an excellent value.

Bought this as a scanner for our Follett library system. This scanner is so powerful that it even scans things that are not barcodes. While I use this I have to be extra careful. I also do not like that I have to cock the scanner up and down in between barcode readings. It slows down my checkout line.
