what type of paper is used?

Regular paper rolls. This in not a thermal printer.

Does this print date and time?

This calculator can print the date or time when entered manually. To print the date, say for example, October 25, 2019, you would enter 10.25.2019 followed by the diamond/number key. To print the time, say for example, 9:46 a.m., you would enter 9.46 followed by the diamond/number key. If you need to print the date repeatedly, I recommend saving it to the memory using the M+ key. Each time you need to print the date, press the M diamond key followed by the diamond/number key. At the end of the day, press the M* key followed by the CA key. This clears the date from the memory.
