Rancid smell, but works well.
Smells great in the tin, but when applied it smells a little rancid. When i received the balm the tin was dented, maybe it let air in and the balm turned rancid? I actually like the way it feels on my beard, the oils don't creep up my face and make me feel oily all day like some lotions and balms.

Meh.
Great smell, but it's pretty greasy and offers almost zero hold. If you're looking for a balm to help shape, this won't do it. But, it does certainly smell like coffee.

Largely good, slightly gritty
Great smell, but it fades relatively quickly. It does a great job at hydrating and protecting my beard though, so I'll definitely buy again!

I like the product as far as smell. My wife despises the smell. I think it it too thick and heavy in the beard.

Received the product right on time, I bought it for my boyfriend who loves 1740 beard balm products. Gives his beard a nice soft, shiny look. Smells great as well.
