'Silent Hill 2' is psychological horror by way of David Lynch; this classic evokes the more surreal and supernatural elements of Twin Peaks while following one man's journey into a hell of his own creation. Like the geographical differences between the maps of the two games, musically 'Silent Hill 2' feels like somewhere you've been before, but somehow also mysteriously different and unique. It's haunting and beautiful at one moment, tense and spine-tingling the next. If 'Silent Hill' is a frightful jump scare, 'Silent Hill 2' will haunt you in your dreams for years to come.

Beautiful. But...
Beautiful soundtrack to one of my favourite games in existence.I am reluctantly critical on one design issue however; the nurse image on the reverse. This is NOT the correct design, it's straight from the shatty movie and the godawful Homecoming. To die-harders like myself it's huge faux pars to represent SH2 like this. Annoying, indeed.Get your nurses right.

É duplo, mas não colorido
Apesar do site da Amazon informar que é apenas um LP, na verdade são dois. Esse album possui uma versão com vinil colorida (uma vermelha e outra "creme") mas essa listada é a com discos pretos normais. Outro detalhe é q o "Obi" (aquele papelzinho que vem na lombada da capa, comum em versões japonesas) fala q essa versão é colorida quando não é. mas aí já é problema com a Mondo. No mais, ótimo disco! Akira Yamaoka é um genio!

I emailed mondo about 4-5 years ago asking them " will you ever release silent hill 2 on vinyl like you did with silent hill 1?" and they replied with "maybe someday, you never know". I clung to that hope for the last 5 years and lo and behold my question was answered. Mondo came through and released the vinyl version of the album. The album art is amazing, the tracks are superb. I think it's safe to say the only reason this album came out was because i emailed mondo all those years ago. So to everyone who bought this. You're welcome.

Il sound è pulito, caldo come solo un vinile può; non mi dilungo su Akira Yamaoka, sappiamo tutti che è un maestro.Il package brevettato Amazon "Frustration Free" protegge i vinili durante il trasporto, quindi state tranquilli.Per il resto, ci vediamo nella città in cui tutto ebbe inizio...
