Recommended, very good, cotton robe, only possible problem is in sizing
I noticed the description said that the blue colour is 100% cotton but the grey is 60% cotton and 40% polyester. There is no mention of what material the black is. I've come across this kind if thing before when in fact I had ordered clothing, not realising that some colours are in different materials and ended up unfortunately with a poly-cotton garment when expecting a cotton garment to arrive.I learned the hard way in the past. Many people don't mind about the material - I'm a cotton fan and I do mind.I was definitely looking for a full cotton, jersey style robe. So just to be sure, I had to buy the blue though I wanted the black.Anyway, it's a nice shade of navy blue, made in India so good quality jersey cotton and dye, and I'm very pleased on the whole.I'd really recommend the robe, especially at £17.99 with free postage for my size.No issues of stray threads anywhere, this seems to be high quality jersey cotton, though it has not been through a wash yet. It's slightly thinner jersey than the jersey duvet covers I use but the weave is tighter (less stretchy). So altogether it probably has around the same thermal value.Jersey cotton really is the best of two worlds - when I use it as a duvet cover it's noticeably warmer on the same inner quilt than ordinary cotton covers, even high thread count covers such as 300 and 400 thread counts. (Higher thread count equals warmer, but Jersey cotton equals warmer still). This robe is going to be warmer than probably any light cotton or silly material robe. (Maybe warmer is not the best term - perhaps just that you wouldn't notice it being chilli as much).Yet, the material can be reasonably light in the warmer months and great for in between times. This is a very packable gown - fold or roll it up tight and it won't take up much room, so great for going away or packing for hospital or clinic visits or visiting relatives etc.The gown has no pile at all - it is flat, quite tight weave, jersey cotton. Is it good enough for 5 star spas? Yes, it looks it certainly on arrival. It's a good quality, casual, easy item to wear which wouldn't draw attention to itself for being either lower market or alternatively upmarket flashy or branded. (It does have an insignia, but it seems to me without any 'look-here' character, whatever that means! The only thing is the sizing. I'd looked at other robes' reviews and people saying generally to order one or two sizes up, and it seems from reviews this applies to this robe.My usual (safe) size is XXL.I am 6 foot to 6"1' tall, have a 35 inch waist and a 47 to 48 inch chest for jumpers (slightly more for jackets). Or with certain brands who seem to have kept their old sizing such as Marks & Spencer or Joules I still take XL.(Many retailers have changed in the direction of much smaller sizes of fashion brands, and so, often the old label sizings now turn out as physically smaller than 10 or 15 years ago).So I decided to order a 3XL robe.It does fit overall. It is an apt fit, that is it fits more or less perfectly around me, not too big or too small. However, I would expect a slightly longer size without a doubt and am disappointed. It's a lovely robe at a really good price, but this is why I could never give it 5 stars. The robe does go over my knees but really not any more than that. I would have liked at least an extra inch or slightly more for comfort and "properness" in a robe.As a result it is just about an acceptable looking length but not an "everything is fine" length - it just "does", more or less.... Which is surprising for a 3XL given I'm only around 6 foot. 6 foot is a common male height and many are taller, yet again this is a 3XL size.I'd read one review for another robe in which the buyer said that robes, properly, ought to be oversized anyway - baggy, pulled around for comfort, never "perfectly" or just fitting. That was actually what made me decide to try what I thought might still be oversized - the 3XL - rather than my usual 2XL.(3XL sounds large to me and I never buy 3XLs - except one I had a 6XL by Burberry which was the same size as my old, other brand XLs.)So I was kind of looking forward to this generosity of size.It turns out that if I hadn't ordered the 3XL, the robe would certainly have been too small for me.What I'm wondering is - anyway - if the bigger sizes are any longer in any case, or if length has reached its peak at XL or 2XL.I think I would prefer a 4 XL, and I'm sure I would if the robe is longer and I'd prefer the generous size. However, as this 3XL fits and is just under the knee and no more, I won't bother returning it.It's a lighter robe, after all, and so can be used in warmer times or possibly around trips in cooler times involving sauna or hot tubFor anyone wondering about the sleeve sizing for a 3XL for my category of size dimensions given above - the sleeves fit absolutely perfectly, not "just" but well, with a nice looseness.Another reason I'll decide to keep it.A slightly longer sleeve might be in keeping with the generousness of material idea I came across. But on the other hand I don't know if that would be great at the sleeve and I'm now going to go with this well fitting but not loose (body-wise) robe size.Sizing is a big issue. That aside - back to the robe itself - really lovely, a nice little insignia which is clearly not in the bothersome world of fashion brand insignia, lovely cotton. I'm really pleased with it.While I don't go in for expensive robes (I've had Pierre Cardin and Marks & Spencer), this still may be the best robe I've bought.I'd just like it to have even a half inch extra length for peace of mind.If that matters to you a lot - given that you could turn up the sleeves if needed and that you probably won't get a wide overall fit anyway - I'd think seriously about going seriously oversized. This is really good value at £17.99 - "best deals" is correct.

Not what I expected
This dressing gown was too small. I bought the XL size, which according to the size information was good for me. (I am right in the middle of the chest and waist specifications quoted)The material weight and length were as the description.

Sizing. Very inaccurate.
Sizing. Very disappointed.. I ordered 5XL. I’m going into hospital tomorrow (short notice, but felt I had to take appointment) unable to send this back, it’s needed for tomorrow, far to small, I’m 6’2” and a 54’ Chest. This would be the correct size as a dressing gown for a 5’10”x 50’ chest man. I do not recommend this item.

Acceptable for the money
I got this as a thinner summer alternative to my normal dressing gown. The only real downside is the belt (or whatever you'd call it) doesn't hold well unless you tie it like a shoelace. Luckily there's not many other people to catch my lockdown dad bod bursting out of it, which happens if I'm not careful!

Extremely small.
Bought an xxl, im usually an xl (6ft4) but got the extra x for comfort. If pulled very tight i could JUST get the two sides to meet in the middle and sleeves were nearer my elbows that my wrists.Returned.

No thicker than a T-shirt
I had really high hopes for this house gown. It looked really nice before I got it out of the bag. I was expecting a very comfy, warm garment - this was as thin, if not thinner than the average t-shirt. Sent it back for a refund.
