Best clothes pins!
I have had clothes pins for many years. But as time moved ahead some finally broke and I needed more. The first few replacement packs came from the dollar store and they were complete junk, (which didn't surprise me). They basically fell apart on the line. I bought some better quality wooden ones at Lowes. They were better than the dollar store ones, but still were breaking apart easily. I compared them to my original old pins, and the springs of the new ones were less than half as the size of the old ones. I came across the soft grip pins on Amazon and took the chance on buying several packs based on reviews. I have not been disappointed! These are the absolute best, ever! They grip the clothes good, they don't leave pinch marks on the fabrics being hung, they are a pleasant color, they don't rust, and I love the wide grips. I plan to buy a few more packs and I also have told my sister and other's that if they need pins, they need these!

Well-made and useful
These are well designed The handles, the part you squeeze to open the clothes pin, have slip-resistant, stippled pads on them, perhaps of rubber. The springs are strong and well-seated in their grooves. The clamps, fixing the clothes to the line, are also lined with the same material as the handles. The clamps are not flat, but an oval, the better to fix the cloth of the garment you are drying to the line.Back of the clamp is a round opening. As you take the clothes down this serves to keep the pin on the line so you don't have to manipulate the garment and the pin at the same time. I take my garments off the line and leave the clothes pins there, retrieving them after the laundry is folded and put away.It is nice to buy a product that does the job so well. I'm ordering another pack because I have on occasion run out of pins.

πππ πππ πππ πππ ππππ! They break within a few months ππ ππππ ππ πππ πππ of all places!
The plastic in these clothespins degrades rapidly with UV rays, and cold weather makes them ridiculously brittle. I bought 4 dozen over 2 months. I think πππ 48 broke within a year, whereas I have other plastic clips that have lasted for maybe 5 years.I think all the 5-star reviews are from people who were happy with the product πππππππππ, πππ never updated their reviews. πΆπ all those reviewers used them πππ ππππ. I loved them at first too, as many of the 1-star reviewers did.If youβre using thin clotheslines, your best bet is the wood ones. 1 package from the π«πΆπ³π³π¨πΉ πππππ per year (for a π ππππ) is all you need.I have several clotheslines of different types and I dry clothes outside year-round in New England. Yes, even when thereβs snow on the ground. If thereβs sunshine, everything dries. I only use the dryer on low or air for 15 minutes to fluff the clothes and towels, or if heavy items did not dry 100%. For 8 years, this is what Iβve been doing.According to the US Department of Energy, 14% of an average householdβs energy usage is for laundry. Most of that is for the dryer. This is one way I reduce my familyβs carbon footprint... and save money.

Good product overall
So far these clothes pins have held up to continuous weekly indoor use. They do not leave an impression on clothes that have been hung to dry. The spring coupled with the anti-slip material has been sturdy enough to properly hold clothes hung on a drying rack. They are a little long; it might be better if they were a little shorter so they would take up less space. But that length makes it easier to grab them and squeeze them open, which can benefit some customers. In terms of value, they might be a little expensive, but it is nice not having the "dent" on clothes that other clothes pins leave.

would b if great if they didn't slide around
I wish I could love these. I've had them less than a month and they are so much better than what I've been able to find so far. They are easy to use, do not break like my other wooden and plastic ones, do not stain my clothes like my wooden ones and do not make holes like the plastic ones I had. MY problem is all my clothes end up bunched all together. I live in a windy area and have to use my old wooden ones as stops to keep these in place. For someone who lives without any wind they'd be great. I am still looking for my perfect clothespin.

Clothespins Have Come A LONG Way
These clothes pins are fabulous. They are light weight and grip like mad without making a crease in your clothes. And they are beautiful - pastel colors - so when you are outside hanging your clothes, listening to birds and feeling the sun and the wind, you are surrounded by beauty...and function. Oh and they shipped quickly and arrived way ahead of their delivery date.If you are old enough, you will remember the old wooden clothespins. Okay maybe you don't but trust me, they rusted, gave you splinters, fell apart only after you hung your wash and wore out fast. These may cost a bit more but they last, don't inflict injury and add to the pleasant experience of enjoying nature, going green, saving energy and saving wear and tear on your clothes.

and that would work best for the set up I have
I have an indoor clothes line installed in my laundry room and wanted plastic clothes pins to use with it. The reason I chose these was because they are slightly smaller than the traditional wooden clothes pins, and that would work best for the set up I have. After using these for several months now, what I love the most about them is the silicon grips on the inside of the clip and on the part that your fingers press to open the pin. I have never had an item of clothing fall off the line with these (both the silicon and the grip), they open wide enough that I have no problem handing thick sweaters with them, and I have never had one come apart (like the wooden pins do). I would buy them again.
