Made circa 2000, Ken Warner of Knifeware produced quality knives in Seki, Japan under two brand names, Blackjack and Big Country. This Big Country Hookr is new old stock from this era and is branded Big Country and identical in quality and handled the same as his Blackjack line. It features a black rubber handle and sturdy AUS-8 blade with nice leather sheath, this is one awesome knife!

This thing
Is SCARY sharp. I couldn’t believe it the first time I unwrapped it and ran my fingers tips across it. It’s a no nonsense big piece of metal that will truly handle anything this thing has been designed for, and some that it hasn’t as well. Be careful where your fingers are when using this thing. One momentary lapse in concentration and the results could be catastrophic.
