This is the best firewood carrier I've seen and used. Once I got the strap adjusted to the right length, it made carrying firewood much easier on my arms, back, and shoulders. I put it on my right side, since the handrail for the stairs going down to the woodstove is on my left. I don't have a loaded carrier banging against my legs and pulling on my arm/shoulder. The whole chore is made much easier and safer.

This may cost more than many hearth-side firewood holders, but your great grandchildren will be using it when they are 50. The rugged yet simple design is also flexible and easily broken down to transport or relocate. Another plus is it is made in the USA. If I need another for another hearth I would definitely buy again.

I love my log ox sling, it works great, better than I imagined. I highly recommend! I was using a wheel barrel to bring wood to the house now I just carry this with me when I’m in my shop and grab a load on the way to the house. It’s very easy to keep the wood box full!

I first saw this bag used on a YouTube channel last year. I was intrigued but the price seemed high at first. We heat our house solely with a wood stove and have for years just carried the wood in a cheap wood bag with handles.I’m a firm believer in carry maximum weight and as few trips as possible, we would load that cheap bag to my maximum ability to carry it. 60+ pounds and carry it with both hands awkwardly.This summer I broke my left leg and dislocated my ankle. My wife had to do her chores and mine because of my injury.She would use the same wood bag I used and made multiple trips from the wood pile to the house just to keep us supplied with wood.Once I was able to start walking again I wanted to help carry some wood but I was unstable on my leg. I decided to try this log ox bag. I could see the principle behind the design.I can carry as much wood as I did with the cheap but because the bulk of the weight is carried by the shoulder the felt weight of the load is about 90% less than how heavy the old style bag felt. The load was more secure against my hip and I was in full control at all times.Now I can help my wife carry wood in the house and move easily.I’m very pleased with the heavy duty construction and design of the Log Ox wood bag

Carried about 5 cords in the house throughout the heating season. Held up pretty good with only minor tearing. My only complaint is if you don’t stack the wood in it the right way it will put a lot of weight on your arm and not on the shoulder strap. It’s important to keep both sides of the bag level as you add firewood. If your arm side gets lower then the shoulder strap side all the weight is on your arm. That being said it is still far better then any traditional firewood bag.

Very happy as 6 to 7 trips to the woodshed daily to feed the woodstove has been cut to 3. Can carry twice as much wood and still be able to open the door with the free hand. Easier to carry in addition to being well made. My wife must love me after all.

Ich hätte 100km hin und zurück dafür fahren müssen. Amazon hat KEINE Alternative angeboten, das halte ich für eine Zumutung.Zum Produkt: ich bin nur wenig überzeugt. Die Idee ist prinzipiell gut, aber wenn man Holz liegen hat, das nicht 100% sauber ist, dann saut man sich das Wohnzimmer ein, weil die Schlinge eben eine Schlinge ist und keine Tasche, in der der SChmutz (Staub, Holzpartikel, etc.) drin bleibt. Außerdem trage ich damit nur die Hälfte der Holzmenge und müsste den langen Weg zum Holzpolter 2 Mal gehen.
