TOP TIPS
I saw this at the airport and had a quick flick through and felt I wouid enjoy reading this. I actually did read it from cover to cover. Over 100 little tips for getting the most out of life, written with humour and very relatable author, who doesn't try to be clever with language. I have now bought it for my daughter and suggests she just dips in and out of it. I think it's good to be reminded how to behave or be in order to get along in this world, which can be such a depressing place a great deal of the time. One of my favourites (especially for my teenage daughter) is about dressing like today counts; like you are going for a job interview. How easy it is to throw on joggers and an old T shirt. But if you make the effort, you will feel differently and it will raise your self esteem, self respect and self confidence. My other favourite one is Always have somebody/someone pleased to see you as it makes us feel worthwhile. This is a book that simply gives easy tips on how to live consciously.

Life for dummies!
An amazing book written in a very practical manner. You can decide to choose which topic concerns or interests you and you go straight to that.Amazing how it gives practical life skills without making you feel like a dummy! But it actually is a Life for dummies handbook. It points out obvious situationso that you wonder why you hadn't perceived them in the same way, while at the same time offering solutions and tipsA good slow read on a road trip or at the airport

Brilliant
Excellent book to guide through the basics of how to run your life successfully. It highlighted many problems I have and gave me solutions to deal with them.

Tells us all those things about life that a perfect mom or dad should have told us
For a practically fatherless only child, this book is really one of the most rewarding books I've ever read. I'm an ex university geography teacher in my mid fifties. If I had the knowledge about life that this book gives me when I was in my twenties, life would have gone more smoothly. It presents useful, easy to understand philosophical ideas in a very brief manner. It doesn't try to be mysterious: it tells you what life is like in a way only an honest loving parent would to their children. My only complaint is that Templar starts repeating himself towards the end of the book.

States the obvious
I think one of Richard’s rules is stating the obvious. Very simplistic book which I learned absolutely nothing new from. All the rules are common sense. I skirted most of it.
