Perfect for sleep
Nice and warm fabric for the baby and easy to use. Best swaddle I’ve found to keep arms in and keep the baby asleep longer.

Super soft and warm!
this sleep sack is perfect for my son! It has the cutest print on it and still looks great after being washed many times!

Really simple and effective!
I love the simplicity and versatility of this swaddle. We were using swaddle blankets before, but couldn’t quite get it to stay during the night. Then we utilized another type of velcro swaddle that we still use, but we felt that it wasn’t as secure around her arms at night and also limited our newborn’s leg movement more than we wanted (she likes to kick and stretch her legs!). It also would sit really high up on her chin, which was concerning for when she would try to sleep through the night. This one is perfect in that we can slip her arms through the holes like a shirt and zipper her in, and then choose how we want to swaddle her with the velcro. It also makes nighttime feedings so much easier, as I am able to unswaddle her arms but keep her zippered in, and then I keep her in the swaddle but unzipper it almost all of the way to allow access to change her diaper. Once we handle our nighttime business, I can zipper and swaddle her back up efficiently and she is undisturbed and back to sleep!

Great for preemies
I have been looking for a swaddler for my 5 lb newborn and all have been too big. I found this one and when I received it, I still thought it was too big but it got perfectly and my daughter loves it. She falls right to sleep. Definitely a just have for your preemie baby. The quality is soft and warm. I think it's pricey but it's worth it.

Swaddles great, no concerns. Get one before the baby arrives!
I highly recommend the HALO sleepsack swaddle. Every new parent should have one in newborn size. Get it before he or she arrives, so you save yourself a trip to the store in those first few days! For the 2 days in the hospital and the first night at home, we swaddled our little girl in receiving blankets (tried waffle weave, thin & stretchy, thick & strong types of blankets). Well wrapping her in blankets didn't last long because she got out of them, and with her arms flailing she kept waking herself up. Not to mention, I lost sleep worrying if the suddenly loose blanket would suffocate her. After the 1st night at home, we stopped by Babies R Us and bought 3 different brands of sleep sacks. We ended up trying this Halo Swaddle Sleep sack, and the Summer Infant one (We didn't even try the swaddlepod. Just looked scary, so we returned it).Well the Summer Infant swaddler was really cute. It worked for the first little bit, but when she got *a little* bigger (like a few weeks), the velcro stopped holding. Either she got too big, or after a few times in the wash the velcro became useless. I think it's a combination of both.As for the HALO Swaddle, she has been using it every day and night. My quicktake on the item:SIDS prevention: I have NO concern with this item, no more than any other general concern I feel for my baby all of the time anyway. Yes, sometimes she is able to loosen the tight wrap a bit, and it comes up above her mouth. However...this can happen with any sleepsack or receiving blanket. Plus, if it's coming up a little higher then it is looser. It's not tight over her mouth (as some reviewers have claimed)Our own sleep: Every once in a while, my husband thought he'd wrap her in a receiving blanket...he's incredible at swaddling, but she could get out in 10 minutes. We have never had better sleep than with this product. It is rare that she can get out of it. This is a baby that kicks and flails constantly.Appearance/fabric: The fleece factor is not my favorite. If you have ever owned a fleece jacket, you will know that it attracts every hair, fuzzball, what-have-you in the vicinity. It's also quite warm. Obviously we have AC, but during the hot hot summer we kept her in tshirts + sleepsack. For this reason, I didn't always feel comfortable putting her in her cute footie pajamas. Now that we're hitting fall, i am able to put her in regular pajamas when using the sleepsackSize: She was born 7'2" and 20 inches. The newborn size lasted us till now at 10 weeks. She is currently 10'2" and 22 inches. I am back to order the small size because her feet are about to hit the bottom of the blanket.Quality of velcro: It has been through several washes, and I see no difference in the velcro's ability to hold. Unlike the summerinfant brand. We always try to remember to close the velcro before washing.Other reviews: (1) mention of loops in front - I don't see these 2) claims about losing teeth? - I have no idea how this would happen. The zipper starts at the top and comes down so the pull-tab ends at her feet, so how a baby could cut her teeth on the zipper I don't know. Many pajamas have zippers so I don't know how this is any different.

Large for newborn size
I was excited for this swaddle/sleep sack because of the arm holes, I figured it would prevent the material from coming up around babys face but I was wrong. It still rides up around her face and there's so much material making it very thick as well. Will work great for cold winter months though

Better sleep and arm free swaddle option!
I was gifted the newborn Halo Sleep Sack by the hospital and had to buy the next size as soon as I could! My baby didn’t like having his arms tied down in a traditional swaddle and would always kick off his blankets. This swaddle gives you the option of having their arms out but still giving the comforting feeling of a hug. My only critique is that the arm holes are very close together and if your baby has broad shoulders they may not be able to fit. Overall, love this sleep sack! Very much worth the price!

My babies love halo sleep sacks!
When I gave birth to my twins, the hospital had Halo sleep sacks that we got to use and take home with us. We loved them so much and my boys only liked being swaddled with these so we ordered more. I’m happy with the quality (it’s super soft and warm). These are the micro fleece ones which are great for colder months and kept my twins nice a snug during their naps. Overall, very happy with our purchase and will be getting the cotton ones next!

Good quality, straight forward
First night home from the hospital and our newborn wouldn’t settle. Both of us were too tired to accomplish an effective swaddle. Second night - fleece sleep sack to the rescue. She loves it and it keeps her nice and warm.

Never go wrong with this brand
Great sleep sack. It's warm and soft. Love that it zips up from the bottom. No complaints. Our nearly 3 month old fits in the small with room to grow.

Best swaddle ever!
We’ve been loving this warm swaddle for my little guy on the colder nights. It’s so cozy and warm. The swaddle part is the best because it’s such easy Velcro but also covers his full arms. I’ve tried other brands with Velcro and he hated them. I think he feels more secure yet roomy in this kind.

Love this!
So warm n cozy for baby. My little guy loved having his arms out so it's great to make it an option with this sleepsack! Highly recommend!
