A Presta valve is attached. If you use KUWAHARA HIRAME pump with American valve, you need to buy HIRAME American valve separately.

This pump head is amazing! Adjustable so you can fine-tune the gripping force on the valve stem, and no leaking at all. Even works great on shorter valve stems that my original pump head had issues with. Brilliant!
