Works great and has all the features I needed
I researched a lot of dive computers before settling on the Zoop. I'm glad I chose it for a number of reasons:1) It's a popular computer, so on my dive trip, the divemasters were able to quickly answer any questions I had about it (I bought it right before my trip and didn't have a chance to use it in a pool). In fact, 3 out of 5 of the divemasters on my boat were using it.2) It's easy to read, although I did need to shine a flashlight on it when cave diving. It could use better backlighting.3) It's easy to use with Enhanced Air (Nitrox).4) It has a battery that can be replaced by the user instead of having to take it to a dive shop. I haven't yet had to replace the battery, but it looks easy.5) It's less expensive than many of the computers I considered. You won't go wrong with this model if you're a recreational diver.

not user frendly
its a fine entry dive computed however it is not intuitive or user friendly. I've used mine on over a dozen dives and still haven't gotten the hang of it. owners manual is not very well written.

A Winner on a Dive Computer!
Had there other cheaper one for 10 years. Knocked the push button cover off a season or two ago. And it died. This is far better Computer with a screen you can read. For the same price. Can't go wrong here!

but looks easy to use
Haven't taken it diving yet, but looks easy to use, easy to read and fairly "idiot proof."

Perfect for what it is.
This is an excellent basic dive safety tool. It does many good things by default. It turns on when you enter the water and gives you all kinds of warnings about when to ascend and when to make a stop without much fuss. The no fly icon is hard to see without glasses. It does lack internal lighting. Even though it glows for a little while after it is exposed to light it loses that quickly making this a bad choice for night diving or low light conditions. The benefit of this is that the battery has lasted many years for me already so that I have not had to replace it which means I have not had to break the waterproof seals and risk the entire device. The "upgrade" dive computer I bought with a backlight died a while back after battery replacement.
